BEWARE OF FALSE MINISTERS. THURSDAY NOVEMBER 16
TEXT: ACTS 8:9-11
KEY VERSE: “Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.” Matthew 7:15
Like Simon the sorcerer in our reading text, some ministers in the church are bewitching their congregation giving them poisoned food to harden their hearts against God. You see great crowds on Sundays trooping to the church and you would think it is a proof of their love for Jesus. This is far from the truth! Most of them are a bewitched crowd assembled in the name of God. Ministers abandon the message of the cross that can save and teach human philosophies, Satan’s doctrines and primordial traditions. These bewitching ministers have led people away from Jesus who is the source of life and anchored their fragile faith on anointing oil, holy water, holy mantle, miracle handkerchief and even themselves. That is modern day witchcraft. Did handkerchief go to the cross for you? Did apron go to the cross for you? Why are you forsaking Jesus Christ the spring of life for a broken cistern?
They use human philosophies and tradition to block people looking for salvation and give them fake Jesus. They block hypocrites; they block hardened criminals; they block backsliders and many more with their compromised gospel messages; people Jesus died for on the cross. Will they escape judgment? Not at all! These impostors were probably original seeds but the cares of this world turned them into thorns. They became devils. You see the smoke of hell coming out of their nostrils and you won't escape for your life? These days anybody can start a ministry or establish a church. But how many of them were called of God? Majority are ministers of Satan executing his evil agenda. Devils are pastoring churches and getting people to fall under false anointing. When you hear them call Jesus you think they are calling the true Jesus. But in truth you are receiving 'help' and 'blessing' from devils. Even in the bible there are more than one Jesus. But there is only one Jesus of Nazareth. God is coming for his church but the people are not aware. They are unprepared. They are busy with the cares of this world.
Thought for the day: Not every man that is professing servant of God is commissioned by God.
Song for the day: The way of the cross leads home.
Bible reading for the day: Ezekiel 13-15; Hebrews 11:20-40

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
