POWER OF THE HOLY GHOST SUNDAY JUNE 18 TEXT: ACTS 10:38 Key Verse: “And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions” Joel 2: 28 Beloved, do you know Jesus Christ was successful in His ministry by the power of the Holy Ghost. You too can live the life of Christ and be successful in your ministry under the unction of the Holy Ghost, that is why He promised, “ye shall receive power after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem and in all Judea and in Samaria and unto the uttermost parts of the earth” Acts 1: 8. The subject of the Holy Ghost spans from the beginning of the Scriptures to the very end. No believer can go far or achieve anything in his Christian life without the power, influence, control and strength of the Holy Ghost. The Holy Ghost is a Divine Personality, every born again believer at the point of salvation receives a measure of the Holy Ghost, but for a full outpouring one needs to be baptized in the Holy Ghost. You need to thirst and hunger for this experience and pray fervently for it. All preaching becomes more effective and all efforts are productive when a believer receives the Holy Spirit fire to subdue all obstacles and opposition in the field of evangelism and Christian service. Although the task is very urgent, yet there is need to tarry in prayer until you are endued with the power from on high to do exploits for the Lord. However, before a Christian can receive this Holy Ghost experience, he needs to be sanctified and made holy. A heart that is not freed from inbred sin cannot receive and retain the Holy Ghost. This is why God promises to sanctify all that thirst after righteousness. Above all, he must ask God in faith. The initial evidence of the Holy Ghost baptism experience is speaking in an unlearned tongue as the Spirit gives utterance. This is the pattern as witnessed severally in the life and ministry of the apostles. Arise and pray through for the promise is unto you, even as many as the Lord shall call. Thought for the day: Have you receive the Holy Ghost since you believed? Song for the day: Holy Ghost fire, fire fall on me (2x)…… Bible reading for the day: Nehemiah 7-8; Acts 3 #horemow.

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. FACTS TO BE UNDERSTOOD ON REVELATION MESSAGES WEDNESDAY JANUARY 11 TEXT: NUMBERS 12: 4-8. Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
