SERVING UNDER A LEADER SUNDAY JUNE 11 TEXT: NUMBERS 8: 9 – 11 Key verse: ‘Take the Levites instead of all the firstborn among the children of Israel and the cattle of the Levites instead of their cattle; and the Levites shall be mine: I am the LORD.’ Numbers 3: 45 We are serving God, but we are serving under a leader. It is the will of God that men serve under leaders. If you are too great to serve under leaders, you have missed Divine plan. If you lack the humility to humble yourself under leaders, you have missed it. You have not come to Christ, or else, the grace you received has gone away. Otherwise, Christ is humble. He was born in a humble place. Christ submitted Himself to men to lead Him for some time, and you are too big, you are too great, you are too high. Forget life! Going to heaven is very, very sensitive. Come, you have a ministry, be very careful that you don’t take over the direction of your ministry by yourself. You will not make it because man cannot lead himself. It is God that does the leading, and if God does the leading, many things about that ministry, you have not yet known. Be very sensitive because He is leading you on the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. Where He is guiding you, He is more interested in righteousness not in achievement. He is more interested in your holiness than in your achievement, so He guides you in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. Follow Him. Be sure that you are not stubborn to Divine guidance. Be sure that you seek His mind, know it well and follow Him as He has told you. As we see this done in the world, so is it also required in the Church, that there should be leaders. In the world, people serve in hierarchies, people are under Presidents, we are under Presidents, and then there are other leaders as well under them, who are leading people, and the nation goes on in the purpose of God. God lays claim to you. Actually, are you serving God? To serve our God, you must be clean. Be ye clean that bear the vessels of the Lord. Clean in your mouth. You are not a liar. Clean in your heart. You don’t hate people there. You don’t keep malice there. You don’t bear grudges there. You are not lusting after people, men and women there. You are not proud in your heart. Lies should be cleansed out from your tongue, out of your lips. Evil, pollution, pride should be cleansed out of your life. Thought for the day: Have the mind of Christ Song for the day: He that is down needs fear no fall, he that is low no pride…. Bible reading for the day: 2 Chronicles 34-36; John 19:1-22 #horemow.

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
