CAREFULNESS IN CHRIST’s CHURCH FRIDAY JUNE 16 TEXT: 1 TIMOTHY 3: 14 – 16 Key verse: “But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth” 1 Timothy 3:15 There is need for carefulness in the Church of Christ. Although we see not our Lord with the naked eyes, but He is with us, for He says, For I am with you always even unto the end of the world. For He had said, Where 2 or 3 are gathered in My name, there I am in the midst of them. Don’t think because you do not see Jesus physically here, in Holiness Revival Movement, you can do what you want. These things saith He that walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks. He goes up and down, checking everything. Make sure you keep order in His Church. Respect apostolic authority. God has given this work to someone. Submit yourself to him. The Bible says, Consider them that have the rule over you, that labour among you, and respect them, honour them very highly in love for their works sake. Willingly love your leader. Willingly submit to his correction, submit to his chastisement, submit to his decisions, submit to what he has said. Respect him. If there be any thing that seems different, reason together in peace. Give your reason, some people reason too. Those that resist authority in the Church, authority that the Lord has set over His people who are subject to Him, who are doing it in love and in the fear of God. You are resisting? He that resists, resists not man but God who has given to us the Holy Spirit. Be subject to authority in honour to the Lord of the Church. In all these things, the humility you are showing is not unto man, but unto God. The humility you are showing is not to man. The obedience, the errand you run, the service you render, is not to any man, although man instructed it, you are doing it for God. God wants peace. Do it in peace. Control yourself. Don’t be an angry man. Don’t be a troublesome man. God wants order and love. For Orderliness, Decency, Righteousness, Holiness, Progress, Victory and Heaven to be enjoyed by us, we must be subject to authority. Thought for the day: Respect Apostolic Authority Song for the day: Make me holy, Make me holy, Make me holy O LORD Bible reading for the day: Nehemiah 1-3; Acts 2:1-13 #horemow.

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
