BELIEVING AND UNBELIEVING HUSBAND AND WIFE SATURDAY JUNE 3 TEXT: 1 PETER 3:1-7 Key Verse: “Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives” 1 Peter 3: 1 If your husband is an unbeliever, the Bible commands you to submit to him even in his life of sin and to live a holy life before him. A person who does not believe commits various types of sins: Adultery, drunkenness, fighting, lying, abusing, and marrying another wife; with all these, the Lord still says submit to him. Why are you so proud, that because your husband married a second wife you say, ‘never, I cannot share my husband with her’, you will go and share him with her in hell. That’s scripture, God says submit, the Lord knows he’s a sinner and a sinner can do anything and that tells you of those who are saying immorality can cause divorce it’s a lie because the Bible says an unbeliever is a sinner; You Christian wife submit to him, which means he’s an adulterer but submit. If you want to get him saved or born again, don’t go the carnal way, sophisticated, flamboyant in dressing, in hair do, in decoration of yourself in this or that, no; go the humble, quiet, gentle and holy way. Go that way, you may win him or else, he can do anything against you but will never take your soul to hell, you still keep your soul in that marriage. The same thing, you are a believing husband but your wife is an unbeliever, some of you would want to drag her, you feel you have power more than her; Jesus didn’t drag his family members who didn’t believe on him; “…neither did his brethren believed on Him.” Don’t force her, don’t command her, ‘you must never wear earring in my house’ please deal gently with her, if she says she won’t remove it, leave it. We will understand with you because the scripture says stay with her. Love her, care for her that’s what the Bible tells us, in that way you may get her saved or she may remain permanently with the devil but your Holy life will take you to heaven. She should not be the reason why you will go to hell. John Wesley had a wife terrible woman but he loved and cared for her. She died in her sin, then she must be in hell now but John Wesley maintained his Holiness and he is in heaven. Again what about the children, you want to leave the man, he might snatch the children from you because they are his children and he will take them to sin. Your presence is helping something in the children, so don’t do anything like that. Thought for the day: Follow peace with all men and holiness without which no man shall see the Lord. Song for the day: Peace Purity Power, Are mine in the Lord, Are mine in the Lord, Peace Purity Power… Bible reading for the day: 2 Chronicles 10-12; John 13:18-38 #horemow.

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
