HOLINESS AND RIGHTEOUSNESS IN DAILY LIFE AND SERVICE MONDAY JUNE 19 TEXT: LUKE 1: 67 – 80 Key Verse: “In holiness and righteousness before him, all the days of our life” Luke 1: 75 This can be achieved by daily devotional life, meditation on God’s word, commitment to personal prayers and personal discipline. “Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.” “Wherewithal shall a man cleanse his way? By taking heed there with according to Thy word.” Without attending to daily bible reading, righteousness and holiness is impossible. You need the word and daily reading of holiness materials to cleanse you daily. The reading of the word makes you see yourself the way you are (your daily mirror). Prayer is also significant in your holy life. Ask, seek and find God’s promised sinless life. Ye shall call upon me and go to pray unto me. In prayers; then He shall answer. Jeremiah 29: 11, 12 “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. 12 Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. Ye shall seek and find me if ye seek me with all your heart. That which I see not, teach thou me; if I have done iniquity, I will do no more. Call on God for cleansing in prayer. Take time to pray for your enemies. Prayer will keep and purify you. Call upon me and I will show you great and mighty things which thou knoweth not. If your body is resisting prayers, join prayer warrior and be ignited to pray. Personal discipline is very important. The possibility that you will go to hell is very high. That is where you spend more time on the TV, internet and leisure, the possibility is very high. Create time to treat your life. Paul said he did something to himself to ensure he does not miss heaven. Take measure on yourself. Study; to show yourself; approved to God. Let it not be once mentioned among you as becometh saints. That is how Daniel, Paul, Job, etc lived. Work hard on yourself; add knowledge to yourself. Learn brotherly love and practice it. Jesus came to change nature. By nature, you were not children of God. Thought for the day: Holiness and Righteousness are made simple in Christ. Song for the day: Make me holy (3x), O LORD….. Bible reading for the day: Nehemiah 9-11; Acts 4:1-22 #horemow

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
