Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?” Romans 6: 1 Why are you continuing in sin? Does Christ need to die again every day for you? No! don’t you ever say “you know that we are not perfect Christians! God knows that we are trying!” These are words of people of the world, those who are yet to know Jesus well. Does Christ die every day? No! Then why must you be sinning? He is able to save them to the uttermost. He is able to bring you to the perfection of life by that one death because of His blood that was shed at Calvary. There are people that have believed and are living daily in righteousness and holiness. There are people that are living like that. Their lives are clean, holy and perfect. Jesus has made atonement for your sins. It means as you come to Christ in sincerity, you can be established in His purity. Ephesians 5:25-27. 25 “Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; 26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, 27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish”. What is the church? It is a body of believers. As many that are born again; they are the church, members of His own body. How did they get born again? Because Christ died for the world; Christ died for sinners. They believed on the Lord Jesus and became born again. Being born again, they have become part of the church of Christ. The Bible tells us that Christ died for the church and for the sinner. "For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures". I Cor. 15:3. The death of Christ on the cross for the sinners gives the sinner salvation from sin and the same death of Christ sanctifies the believer for holy living. Thought for the day: Many have believed and are living daily in righteousness and holiness. Song for the day: He loves me, I cannot say why…. Bible reading for the day: Job 13-15; Acts 8:26-40 #horemow.

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
