FRIDAY JUNE 30 TEXT: ACTS 10: 42 – 48 Key verse: “While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word” Acts 10: 44 A sister in Enugu State received salvation and Holy Ghost baptism at a go! Praise the Lord! Alleluia! There was a repeat performance of the demonstration of the supernatural occurrence that took place in the household of Cornelius during the ministration of Apostle Peter. The Horemow Zonal Coordinator for the South East, testified that during his visit to Enugu State for their State Combined Chapter meeting, the Lord moved mightily in the program. After the fellowship, he gave attention to counseling the brethren. While this was going on, a member of the State Committee came to tell the Coordinator that there was a sister that was under heavy conviction of the Holy Spirit and that she desired the Coordinator to lead her to Christ. The sister was of Anglican background, and she was dressed with jewelry and ornaments. The Coordinator first ministered the gospel message to her and explained to her the fundamentals of inward and outward holiness. She accepted the word and yielded her life to Christ. As the Coordinator was leading her in prayer, she was spontaneously baptized in the Holy Spirit and suddenly burst into tongues, Alleluia! All the brethren that witnessed it immediately started another praise session God. (Acts 10: 44 – 47). 44 While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word. 45 And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter, 47 Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we? 48 And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days. May you be saved, sanctified and baptized in the Holy Ghost, in Jesus name. Amen. Thought for the day: The promise of the Holy Ghost is unto you. Song for the day: The power, the power, the Pentecostal power Bible reading for the day: Job 19-20; Acts 9:23-43 #horemow.

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
