Victims Of Deception

Tuesday 3rd March

Text: 2 Timothy 3:13
Key Verse: Take heed to yourselves, that your heart be not deceived, and ye turn aside, and serve other gods, and worship them; Deuteronomy 11:16.
When Lucifer became corrupt, the number one instrument that he used on the perfect angels that joined him in rebellion was deception. When the rebellious angels were sent down to the earth by divine judgment, the devil used the same instrument to get man out of the garden. There are many in hell fire right now because they were deceived by Satan (Rev 20:10). Who are the victims of deception? 
They That Heard The Word And Did Not Understand It: A student who does not understand his teacher can hardly pass exams. The word of God did not gain entrance into their hearts because they gave heed to distraction rather than the word (1 Cor. 7:35). They are not interested in true revelations God gives the church in our time.
Those Who Do Not Value What They Have: They do not value the teachings, divine presence and great work of God among His elect; that’s why the deceiver came in and removed them and carried them to darkness. Are you among those without a strong conviction of the doctrines of holiness? If you are not committed to the true gospel of righteousness and holiness, you can easily be misled by the devil.
Those who are careless with their soul and wilfully reject the salvation of God do not value eternal life. There are scriptural warnings from Genesis to Revelation, but many don’t follow them. The Scripture warns believers against false prophets and teachers, but many do not bother about the warnings. “For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist. 2 John 1:7.” “But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived. 2 Timothy 3:13.” Unfortunately, many victims of the craftiness of the devil are lamenting in hell right now. With this simple understanding, you can neatly escape being another victim of Satan’s craftiness.

Thought For The Day: Never collect Satan’s gift. He will offer you deception.
