God’s Amazing Grace For Repentance
God's blessings will continually accompany you for dedicating time to your studies.
Text: 2chr 33:1-2, 14
Key Verse: 2 Kings 21:16 “Moreover Manasseh shed innocent blood very much, till he had filled Jerusalem from one end to another; beside his sin wherewith he made Judah to sin, in doing that which was evil in the sight of the LORD.”
The reign of Manasseh, the son of King Hezekiah and the wickedness he did, his punishment and restoration, is a great lesson for the children of God. Some believers who backslide from the faith continue in sin instead of turning to God for restoration. Manasseh was born 3 years after Hezekiah's grace period and was 12 years old when he began to reign. He did wickedness by restoring the idols his father, Hezekiah destroyed. “Moreover Manasseh shed innocent blood very much, till he had filled Jerusalem from one end to another; beside his sins wherewith he made Judah to sin, in doing that which was evil in the sight of the LORD.”
Manasseh allowed all sort of sins during his reign. Abortion, witchcraft, immorality or whatever evil were legalized. His sin was so much that God allowed his enemies to take him away to Babylon. The pride of being a king was removed from him. Everyone who promotes sin is equally telling God, ‘I don’t want You,’ and God will remove His hand from him, and he will become vulnerable to the enemies.
The Lord had mercy on Manasseh and brought him back to the kingdom after his repentance. God is calling you to return to him, no matter how far and deep you have gone into sin. He is ready to restore you and take you to heaven. Though he repented, he couldn't reverse all the evils he had committed, and his son continued with these evils. Some pastors and fathers of the faith handed their denominations to Satan, and their children are continuing in them. Punk hairstyles, tight-fitting dresses, women wearing trousers (pants), bump shorts, earrings, necklace and naked dressing are the order of the day. God is raising vibrant youths who will go to those denominations and undo these evils to restore the ministry of Josiah. Be part of them in Jesus’ name, amen.
