The Precious Ministry And Minister
Thursday 5th March
Text: 1 Samuel 3:19-21
Key Verse: Romans 1:1 “Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God.”
God gave Samuel a precious ministry. It was precious because you cannot find the same kind of ministry in his day. It was not because he was the only one in the temple; the children of Eli, Phinehas and Hophni, were there also, but they could not find the word and truth of God. The word of God was precious, scarce and almost extinct, but the Lord manifested Himself through Samuel. God called Samuel, just as He called Apostle Paul, and he separated himself from the world for the sake of the gospel of God; Samuel was made the prophet of Israel. Samuel separated himself unto the ministry of God and was a righteous priest, the only one controlling the works in the temple, and was sacrificing for the children of Israel at the same time. God made him to be a kingmaker and a father of kings. The bible has to his credit that he anointed Saul and David to be kings over Israel. God made him His mouthpiece in Israel. God put Himself in Samuel, and miracles and authority followed him, and he maintained righteousness to the end.
God wants you to separate yourself unto Him, for His gospel, so that He will put His authority upon you to use you at this end time to do mighty things for Him. To save the perishing souls and to help you maintain righteousness so that you can stand against the devil. Samuel is in heaven now. When God empowers you, no demon can stand you. No witch or wizard can confront you. Samuel was righteous from the beginning until his end. Make sure that you are righteous. You will not know backsliding in your life. You will be like Apostle Paul and will become a new person, holy and ready to preach the gospel with perfection and boldness. Be different. Do not be corrupted by the sins of society.
