The Resurrection Of The Dead

Wednesday 18th March

Text: John 5:28-29
Key Verse: Isaiah 26:19 “Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs and the earth shall cast out the dead.
There are two types of resurrection. These are called the first resurrection and the second resurrection. They are also called the resurrection of life and the resurrection of damnation. The resurrection of the saints, variously described in scripture as resurrection of the just, a better resurrection and the first resurrection, has 4 phases:
 i. The resurrection of Christ, the first fruit (1 Corinthians 15:3, 4,12,20,23)
ii. The resurrection of the church-age saints at the rapture 1 Thessalonians 4:13-16
iii. The resurrection of the tribulation period saints (Revelation 20:3-5)
iv. The resurrection of Old Testament saints at the second advent of Christ to the earth (Daniel 12:2)
All who partake of the first resurrection shall live and reign with Christ forever and ever in His eternal kingdom of righteousness, peace and joy.
The second resurrection is the resurrection to damnation, which takes place after the millennial reign, after the last battle with Satan, called the battle of Gog and Magog. All that ever lived and died in sin from the beginning of the existence of man on earth to this period in time shall be resurrected for divine judgment and final condemnation to the everlasting lake of fire, along with Satan and demons, the fallen angels.
Revelation 20:10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone and shall be tormented day and night forever and ever.

Thought For The Day: All who died in this world will undergo physical resurrection.

Song For The Day: One glorious morning I shall see my Saviour…

For taking your time to study remain blessed. UNDERSTANDING ETERNITY WEDNESDAY MAY 10 TEXT: Psalm 90: 1 - 2 Key Verse: “The Lord is King forever and ever: the heathen are perished out of his land Psalm 10:16 People that understand eternity are always careful. Eternity means forever and ever, it means ever-lasting, ever-living, never dying. Trillion upon trillion years, eternity is still on, in fact it is life without end. There are two extreme ends of eternity: The kingdom of God called third heaven where God the Father, God the son, God the Holy Ghost, twenty-four elders, saints of God that make heaven, holy angels of God, and entire host of heaven dwell now presently; Hell-fire, where Satan, demons, and sinners that have died in their sins are presently kept. God is the One that introduced eternity. He lives forever. It is not a choice, the One who created us is forever, hence you will live forever, but what matters is where you will live eternally. Remove God from the way, then t...
Every Word Of God For Daily Living For taking your time to study remain blessed July Tuesday 9th TOPIC: WE ARE IN THE TWILIGHT HOUR OF RAPTURE TEXT: Ephesians 5:26-27 KEY VERSE: Hebrews 9:28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation. Seeing the traces of the features of the next dispensation in this present dispensation, you should know that you are in the twilight hour. What is a twilight hour? A twilight hour is that hour of the day that you begin to see the traces of the night while it is still daylight (probably 7:00pm to 7:30pm). It is not completely dark, yet it is not complete bright either. While it is still day, you are seeing the traces of the night. A twilight hour is the hour when you are still in this dispensation but you are already seeing traces of the next. The twilight hour is the time that our Lord Jesus Christ was born and even though He came with the New Test...
