Personal Retreat For Spiritual Renewal And Revival (Part 1)

Monday 16th March

Text: Mark 6:30-32
Key Verse: Come, and let us return unto the Lord: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up. After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight. Hosea 6:1, 2.
God is interested in making us heaven-worthy end-time children of His. He wants you to always appear in His workshop for Him to work on you, to make you a very strong and dependable believer. God knows everything about you. Through His word, He will make you know His ways. Peter backslid from the Lord, but he did not remain in that condition. Find time like Peter to go and cry over how you denied Him publicly, so that you can recover yourself. I pray you find fellowship with God to teach you more so that you can walk with Him and work for Him better. In your retreat, you will find out the secrets of how to please God and do more for Him.
“Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting (Ps 139:23, 24).” This man seems to have withdrawn to a private place and invited the Lord. Apart from what the Lord knew about him, he passionately asked God to come closer to check him up; to examine him whether he is still walking in the way. He wanted to know whether there was anything that had taken over the place of God in his heart.
Sometimes, as a Pastor, you argue with your members who blame you for some ungodly character. You talk with some boldface to prove that you have not sinned. Now, it is God you have invited. If you can allow Him to tell you the lies that have come out of your mouth, the anger you have displayed, the darkness that surrounds you, the same God will help bring you out of sin. The medical doctor examines you to know what your problem is; he checks for the damage done in you. After discovering what has gone wrong with you, he will prescribe the drugs that will solve the problem. Allow God to check you. Some things are dangerous to your salvation, and He will discover in you that which may be unknown to you.

Thought For The Day: It pays to hand over oneself for divine examination.

Song For The Day: You cannot hide it from God.

For taking your time to study remain blessed. UNDERSTANDING ETERNITY WEDNESDAY MAY 10 TEXT: Psalm 90: 1 - 2 Key Verse: “The Lord is King forever and ever: the heathen are perished out of his land Psalm 10:16 People that understand eternity are always careful. Eternity means forever and ever, it means ever-lasting, ever-living, never dying. Trillion upon trillion years, eternity is still on, in fact it is life without end. There are two extreme ends of eternity: The kingdom of God called third heaven where God the Father, God the son, God the Holy Ghost, twenty-four elders, saints of God that make heaven, holy angels of God, and entire host of heaven dwell now presently; Hell-fire, where Satan, demons, and sinners that have died in their sins are presently kept. God is the One that introduced eternity. He lives forever. It is not a choice, the One who created us is forever, hence you will live forever, but what matters is where you will live eternally. Remove God from the way, then t...

The local church should teach and train her members on scriptural fasting. Believers need to know that the Lord expects...

Pastor Paul Rika’s Burden, Vision and Action To Reach the Unreached (2)

God's blessings will continually accompany you for dedicating time to your studies. Pastor Paul Rika’s Burden, Vision and Action To Reach the Unreached (2) Wednesday 15th October TEXT: Titus 3: 3-6   Key verse: Titus 3: 6 “Which He shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior.” I remember I was in Sao Tome and Principe as a deeper life national overseer and I was writing the book, “Divine Revelation of God’s Holiness and Judgment.” The vision the Lord gave to Michael Sambo. I was translating it into a book, with the scriptural backups to make it a sound evangelistic book. I saw that truly the world is doomed. What will I say about those who have not known Jesus among the 7 billion people on earth; those who do not even have anything to do with Him? Do I speak of the billions in Asia without understanding of Jesus? Out of the 1.4 billion in India, they are struggling to record 150 million Christians including Catholics.  Who knows Jesus then? Even among Pentecosta...
