Personal Retreat For Spiritual Renewal And Revival (Part 2)

Tuesday 17th March

Text: Genesis 32: 24-30
Key Verse: Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me (Psalms 51:10).
Apart from God, constantly examine yourself and allow others to examine you. “My brother, we have been working together in this ministry for five years; have you been hearing anything contrary about me? I want to know.” Wisdom will tell you to do this so that you don’t carry pride and perish. Pride goes before a fall. It is wisdom to ask a fellow sister, “We have been working together in this place; did you hear any complaints about me? I don’t see my back; that is why I’m asking you, who see my back, to tell me the truth. How does my head-tie look at the back? Did I tie it well there?” There is nothing wrong if you can ask a fellow to examine you.
“Faithful are the wounds of a friend; but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful (Proverbs 27:6).” If you can be told the truth about yourself, the truth shall make you free. Ask your colleague in your workplace whether you have been doing well. “Do you know how our colleagues think about me?” It is wisdom to check on oneself.
Withdraw yourself to your closet for a self-checkup. “Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates? (2 Cor. 13:5). Examine yourself. Are you really in the number of those saved? Are the evidences of salvation still there? He that is born of God does not commit sin. He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself. Do you tell lies? Have you not heard that they say Pastors tell lies? Have you not heard that your wife says you are not born again? Take time to pray and check up on yourself. If you examine yourself and there is no sin, glory to God for that. Bless God, you are in Christ and moving in Him. If you see any craftiness manifesting in you, know that you are leaving Jesus. It is time to come back. Don’t be too busy with your friend; go and work on yourself, and come back. How far has the busy world taken you? Where is the busy world carrying you to?

Thought For The Day: If we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.

Song For The Day: Come and see the light, the light of God.

For taking your time to study remain blessed. UNDERSTANDING ETERNITY WEDNESDAY MAY 10 TEXT: Psalm 90: 1 - 2 Key Verse: “The Lord is King forever and ever: the heathen are perished out of his land Psalm 10:16 People that understand eternity are always careful. Eternity means forever and ever, it means ever-lasting, ever-living, never dying. Trillion upon trillion years, eternity is still on, in fact it is life without end. There are two extreme ends of eternity: The kingdom of God called third heaven where God the Father, God the son, God the Holy Ghost, twenty-four elders, saints of God that make heaven, holy angels of God, and entire host of heaven dwell now presently; Hell-fire, where Satan, demons, and sinners that have died in their sins are presently kept. God is the One that introduced eternity. He lives forever. It is not a choice, the One who created us is forever, hence you will live forever, but what matters is where you will live eternally. Remove God from the way, then t...

Pastor Paul Rika’s Burden, Vision and Action To Reach the Unreached (2)

God's blessings will continually accompany you for dedicating time to your studies. Pastor Paul Rika’s Burden, Vision and Action To Reach the Unreached (2) Wednesday 15th October TEXT: Titus 3: 3-6   Key verse: Titus 3: 6 “Which He shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior.” I remember I was in Sao Tome and Principe as a deeper life national overseer and I was writing the book, “Divine Revelation of God’s Holiness and Judgment.” The vision the Lord gave to Michael Sambo. I was translating it into a book, with the scriptural backups to make it a sound evangelistic book. I saw that truly the world is doomed. What will I say about those who have not known Jesus among the 7 billion people on earth; those who do not even have anything to do with Him? Do I speak of the billions in Asia without understanding of Jesus? Out of the 1.4 billion in India, they are struggling to record 150 million Christians including Catholics.  Who knows Jesus then? Even among Pentecosta...
