The Dressing And Adornment Of Christian Men

Saturday 7th March

Text: Exodus 28:4
Key Verse: Philippians 4:9: Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.
In the scripture above, God was talking to Aaron and his sons, who were to be made priests in the House of God. The Lord specified the kind of garment that they should make before they could be qualified to minister in the Priest’s office. We, as Children of God, should always make sure our dressings are to the Glory of God and as specified by Him. You also, as a minister of God, should dress properly to befit your calling and office, and not to look shabbily. We are supposed to look like our Lord Jesus Christ and be presentable. We should also take an example from our Father in the Lord, Pastor Paul Rika, on how he looks all the time. Those things which you have been seeing in him, do likewise. There are things that when people look at you, they copy as a leader, and one of those things is your dressings; how good you always look, not necessarily flamboyant.
Do you look holy and presentable in appearance in a way that your members can be proud of you? Some members can even snap their pastor and show as an example for others to copy. Some of you know you do not look well in your dresses; you look shabby, dirty or casual. How will people rate you? A leader or pastor who wears slippers on a suit to climb the altar cannot be said to be properly dressed. A sister who wears tight-fitting skirts with uncovered hair is not singing to the Glory of God.
Whosoever you are, show it in your dresses. When you look at Holiness Churches today, you will see their members looking like their founders, and you can easily identify where they come from. Children of the devil put on the attire of the harlots and are on assignment to seduce and damn many souls to hellfire. Take heed, as the devil is on a mission to steal, kill and to destroy.

Thought For The Day: Your mode of dressing reveals who you are serving and where you want to spend eternity.

Song For The Day: Serving a Living God, we are serving God, Amen

Bible Reading For The Day: Joshua 8-10

For taking your time to study remain blessed. UNDERSTANDING ETERNITY WEDNESDAY MAY 10 TEXT: Psalm 90: 1 - 2 Key Verse: “The Lord is King forever and ever: the heathen are perished out of his land Psalm 10:16 People that understand eternity are always careful. Eternity means forever and ever, it means ever-lasting, ever-living, never dying. Trillion upon trillion years, eternity is still on, in fact it is life without end. There are two extreme ends of eternity: The kingdom of God called third heaven where God the Father, God the son, God the Holy Ghost, twenty-four elders, saints of God that make heaven, holy angels of God, and entire host of heaven dwell now presently; Hell-fire, where Satan, demons, and sinners that have died in their sins are presently kept. God is the One that introduced eternity. He lives forever. It is not a choice, the One who created us is forever, hence you will live forever, but what matters is where you will live eternally. Remove God from the way, then t...

The local church should teach and train her members on scriptural fasting. Believers need to know that the Lord expects...

Pastor Paul Rika’s Burden, Vision and Action To Reach the Unreached (2)

God's blessings will continually accompany you for dedicating time to your studies. Pastor Paul Rika’s Burden, Vision and Action To Reach the Unreached (2) Wednesday 15th October TEXT: Titus 3: 3-6   Key verse: Titus 3: 6 “Which He shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior.” I remember I was in Sao Tome and Principe as a deeper life national overseer and I was writing the book, “Divine Revelation of God’s Holiness and Judgment.” The vision the Lord gave to Michael Sambo. I was translating it into a book, with the scriptural backups to make it a sound evangelistic book. I saw that truly the world is doomed. What will I say about those who have not known Jesus among the 7 billion people on earth; those who do not even have anything to do with Him? Do I speak of the billions in Asia without understanding of Jesus? Out of the 1.4 billion in India, they are struggling to record 150 million Christians including Catholics.  Who knows Jesus then? Even among Pentecosta...
