The Door Of Holy Living 

Tuesday 18th February

Text: Ephesians 5: 25-27 
Key verse: -Ye are witnesses, and God also, how holily and justly and unblameably we behaved ourselves among you that believe. 1 Thessalonians 2:10. 
Christianity is all about a Holy God, Who lives in Holy heaven, and sent His Holy Son to the earth to redeem sinful men and make them holy in heart and life, that they may serve the holy God eternally. Holiness is God's demand from men. It is also God's provision for men in Christ. Holiness is God's provision for you in Christ Jesus. It is God's commandment for you in His holy Scripture, that you should be holy in heart, thought, word, action and in your relationship with God and man. Holiness is the demand of God and the command of Scripture. You are to be holy at home, at work, in the church and in all business of life. Hebrews 12: 14. You are to love the LORD your God with all your heart, soul, and strength, and to love your neighbor as yourself. You are to keep God's word and obey all His commandments diligently. You are to live in love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, humility and self-control. 
In Christ, holiness is made easy. He is God-Man and in Him, man can possess the nature of God, which is holiness, 1 Peter 1:15-16. The word of God says that we should partake of His divine nature. God became man that man should take the nature of God and live the life of God, in the holiness of God. Holiness is possible. You can be holy. The Bible called the prophets 'holy men of God' and believers, 'the saints of God.' Apostle Paul said, “I am holy, I behave holily and righteously;” so, holiness is a possibility. We can be holy. You can be holy in life. 1 Thessalonians 2:10 “Ye are witnesses, and God also, how holily and justly and unblameably we behaved ourselves among you that believe.” In Christ, you can possess the nature of God. Holiness is yours through faith in Christ. Total cleansing is through faith in Christ. In Christ, you can be totally purged. God bore them witness, sent the Holy Ghost and purified their hearts. Holiness is the working and provision of God without which you cannot see Him. You can be holy, and you can live a holy life.
