Unique Qualities Of A Holy Woman: The Case Of Mary (Part 1)

Text: Luke 1:26-27

Monday 3rd February

Key verse: And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou has found favor with God Luke 1:30.
The text shows angelic visitation to a young virgin called Mary, who kept herself in purity and holiness thereby, attracting the favor of God. Mary the mother of Jesus possessed some qualities which all women desirous of heaven should emulate. She was holy, pure, clean and maintained holiness in heart and life, as revealed by scriptural accounts on her before the angelic visitation.
She was a woman of faith in God. The Lord has called you to be a believer and so, believe what God tells you like Mary. Are there women of faith after the pattern of Mary? Are there women that believe the Lord shall perform the thing they are praying for? If you do, there shall be a performance. (Mark 9:33). Apart from being a woman of faith, Mary was a humble woman of God. As a woman chosen by the LORD, she was really worthy to work with the Lord, because she was of a humble and contrite spirit. Is that your case? Are you of a humble and contrite spirit? May we seek to be like Mary.
Mary was submissive to suffering in the will of God. Suffering was attached to being the mother of Jesus. She was not full of murmuring and complaints; despite the challenges she went through. But little things make most people especially women to complain. A little lack at home makes you weary your husband with murmurings. She was a loving and caring mother and had love in her heart. If you came across Mary then, you would see the beauty of care, love, and gentleness. I want you to see this caring mother, concerned, yet under control. Mary had her emotions and tongue under control. Is this your case?

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

The local church should teach and train her members on scriptural fasting. Believers need to know that the Lord expects...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. UNDERSTANDING ETERNITY WEDNESDAY MAY 10 TEXT: Psalm 90: 1 - 2 Key Verse: “The Lord is King forever and ever: the heathen are perished out of his land Psalm 10:16 People that understand eternity are always careful. Eternity means forever and ever, it means ever-lasting, ever-living, never dying. Trillion upon trillion years, eternity is still on, in fact it is life without end. There are two extreme ends of eternity: The kingdom of God called third heaven where God the Father, God the son, God the Holy Ghost, twenty-four elders, saints of God that make heaven, holy angels of God, and entire host of heaven dwell now presently; Hell-fire, where Satan, demons, and sinners that have died in their sins are presently kept. God is the One that introduced eternity. He lives forever. It is not a choice, the One who created us is forever, hence you will live forever, but what matters is where you will live eternally. Remove God from the way, then t...
