THINGS YOU SHOULD NOT SEEK FOR IN LIFE

God's blessings shall follow you, for taking the time to study.

TOPIC: THINGS YOU SHOULD NOT SEEK FOR IN LIFE

TEXT: JOB 21:13-17

FRIDAY AUGUST 25TH

Key verse: Hosea 11:7 “And My people are bent to backsliding from Me: though they called them to the Highest, none at all would exalt Him”
There are things a child of God should pray against or not seek in life. A child of God should not seek for hellfire. It means he must do everything and fervently pray not to sin and escape hell. He must be alert at all times so he does not backslide. It means avoiding every appearance of evil and being careful not to marry a sinner or cautious in handling issues with your wife or husband.
Where you are receiving the true word of God, Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide must be seen as precious gold. Satan has tactically removed many away from the movement so that you will not backslide and become one of them.
Don’t seek for your will, for it is not in a man to direct his path. Jesus accomplished the will of the Father even at trying movements, why are you saying everything must please you? Those who insist on their will do not end well. Cain, Pharaoh, Herod, etc. insisted on their will but are in hell now.
Don’t seek your greatness. God did not bring you to the world to seek greatness but to give Him pleasure in your service unto Him. Paul served God, even in suffering. Stephen was even stoned to death, but you are seeking fame, wealth, and pleasure.
Don’t seek your independence. You are spending your time pursuing the wealth of this life and forgetting God.
Don’t seek the downfall of others. Do you want others to fall so that you will rise? The way to greatness is humility.
Don’t do anything against the name of Jesus, the gospel, the church, the people of Jesus, leaders of HOREMOW, and the truth no matter the gains attached to it. Don’t join the persecutors or critics of the Holiness movement.

Thought for the day: Preach and live the truth and God will reward you.

Song for the day: I Know My Sheep and My Sheep Know My Own Voice

Bible reading for the day: Psalm 124-127; 1 Corinthians 7:1-24

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. FACTS TO BE UNDERSTOOD ON REVELATION MESSAGES WEDNESDAY JANUARY 11 TEXT: NUMBERS 12: 4-8. Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
