JOB MAINTAINED RIGHTEOUSNESS IN RICHES AND SUFFERING

Gods blessings shall follow you, for taking the time to study

TOPIC: JOB MAINTAINED RIGHTEOUSNESS IN RICHES AND SUFFERING

TEXT: JOB 1:1-5

WEDNESDAY AUGUST 2ND

Key verse: “Man that is born of a woman is of a few days and full of troubles”. Job 14: 1
Faithfulness to God does not guarantee that a person’s life will be free from trouble, pain and suffering. In fact, the Lord Jesus taught us to expect difficulties and challenges in this life. The Bible provides a number of examples of godly people who suffered greatly for a variety of reasons. Among those who suffered much were Joseph, David, Job, Jeremiah, and Paul. Jesus Christ, of course, went through the greatest suffering of all in order to accomplish God’s greatest goal, which is to make spiritual salvation available to all.
The Bible tells the story of Job as a man who was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil. Job was said to be greatly blessed with children, possessions like sheep, camels, oxen, asses and a very great household, so that he was the greatest of all the men of the East. With this wealth he still remained humble. He always ensured that his children lived a sanctified life devoid of worldly pollution. God was proud of the exceptional holy life of Job and boasted to Satan about him. God went into a contest with Satan, and allowed him to test Job but not to tamper with his life.
Satan killed Job’s children, destroyed all his life-stock and further attacked his health with sore boils from the sole of his feet to the crown of his head. In all these afflictions, Job never knew God allowed all these to prove a point to Satan. “In all these did Job not sin with his lips.” His wife asked, “Dost thou still retain thine integrity? Curse God and die.” His friends too were not helpful. Let’s beware of evil counsel and relationships that can destroy your soul forever. In time of riches and happiness; lack and shame, Job still maintained his righteous and holy lifestyle. Job passed the test. Can you withstand temptations in times of trials?

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. FACTS TO BE UNDERSTOOD ON REVELATION MESSAGES WEDNESDAY JANUARY 11 TEXT: NUMBERS 12: 4-8. Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
