STRIVE TO MAINTAIN STANDARD OF CHRISTIAN DRESSING

God's blessings shall follow you, for taking the time to study.

TOPIC: STRIVE TO MAINTAIN STANDARD OF CHRISTIAN DRESSING

TEXT: HEBREWS 5: 13-14

TUESDAY AUGUST 29TH

Key verse: Romans 12: 11 “Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord.”
Eventually, since people had accepted it, they started reducing the size of the trousers. Gradually until it became tight-fitting. We don’t know what next thing is coming. Will these people who didn’t condemn it from the beginning but kept on adjusting and hardening their hearts have any strength to preach again? That is the problem. That is why the preachers are quiet. Their energy has been eaten up. God has been reproving them and convicting their hearts yet they have remained adamant and hardened. The preachers are together with the people now as they are in their churches saying, “Leave them as they are, come as you are…” That is why the women are left as they are in these churches but the true church preaches against sin.
There are people who are used to sound doctrine and their spiritual senses are strong. They can easily pick something that is an error. Being strong in the Lord, they detected when this thing was coming in, right from the split-back. They said, “Not in this church, you cannot be a worker, you cannot sing for us; you cannot be in our choir with your split skirt. You cannot.” They resisted them because they knew it was of Satan. So, these strong men have already raised congregations where you cannot find women wearing trousers because they knew right from the beginning.
They could study the work of the devil and detect it from afar. So, they began to fight it early, except that they were few. HOREMOW is one of such congregations. Amen! One of such ministers that are sharp and that can discern evil from a distance and dictate it because, the prudent man foreseeth the evil and hideth himself. You will find eternal life because you have obeyed the truth but those who have already been toughened by these other pastors will resist this scriptural teaching and become angry. They will reject it; they will want to go their own way. Yeah, many people left Jesus because they said His doctrine was too hard, yet Jesus continued to preach.

Thought for the day: The prudent man foreseeth the evil and hideth himself but the simple walk on and are punished.

Song for the day: Christian walk prayerfully, danger is near

Bible reading for the day: Psalm 139-141; 1 Corinthians 10:1-13

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. January Saturday 18th TOPIC: HOW TO ATTAIN BIBLE HOLINESS TEXT: Romans 6:20-23 KEY VERSE: Romans 6:22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. Besides the essential knowledge of the holy life of a Christian, it is good to understand the manner and process of becoming holy before God. Holiness of life is a life that has overcome sin through the saving power of Jesus Christ. Romans 6:22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. It is a life that does not commit sin. 1John 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for His seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. Getting this experience requires four things: 1. Know that apart from holiness, there is no alternative lifestyle for heaven. Hebrews 12:14 Follow peace with all men, and holin...
