THE TIME OF JACOB’S TROUBLE

God bless you for taking your time to study.

TOPIC: THE TIME OF JACOB’S TROUBLE
TEXT: REVELATION 19:1-10

WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 5th

Key verse: Matthew 24:21. “For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be”
The Great Tribulation will occur after the rapture and will be a time of terrible suffering on earth. It is also referred to as the time of “Jacob’s trouble” Jeremiah 30:7. There will be great tribulation such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time no, nor ever shall it be. It is called; the day of the Lord, a day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds of thick darkness, a day of waste and desolation and a time of trouble.
The purpose of the great tribulation is to make Israel suffer so that they can be ready to cry to the Messiah; the Lord Jesus Christ whom they presently reject, to come to them. It is also to judge the unbelieving men and women of all ages. The Bible shows that the great tribulation will take off after the rapture of the church, and will last for seven years. It will end at the second advent of Jesus Christ, when He alights on mount Olives and settles in Jerusalem for a thousand-year millennial reign.
This means that it is post-rapture and pre-millennium or the last week of Daniel’s 70 weeks. Daniel 9:26, 27. It is post-rapture because God will not let His children to suffer the great tribulation, its judgments and destructions. He saved Noah, (a preacher of righteousness) and his family before destroying the world with flood. He rescued lot (who was vexed with the filthy conversation of Sodom) and family before destroying it with fire. So God will take away his children from the earth before the great tribulation begins.
The great tribulation reaches its peak of destructions, judgments, terrors, frightening wars and desolation from the middle of the seven-year duration and ends with Christ’s Second Advent. That is when the antichrist breaks his seven-year peace covenant with Israel and attacks Jerusalem.

Thought for the day: Strive to escape the great tribulation.

Song of the day: There is a great day coming, a great day coming bye and bye.

Bible reading for the day:

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
