DEAL WITH THE ROOT OF SIN.

TUESDAY OCTOBER 18TH

TEXT: ROMANS 7:16-25.
KEY VERSE: Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
Sin has devastating consequences in the life of a believer. Apart from spiritual death, the opportunity of living eternally with the Lord Jesus Christ is lost due to a sinful lifestyle. The root of sin began in the Garden of Eden when Adam and Eve disobeyed God in Genesis 3:4-6. How can we deal with the root of sin in our lives? It is when we discover the things that God warns us in His word not to do and we run away from it, and completely refrain from it.
Proverbs 1:10 “My son, if sinners entice thee, consent thou not.”
1 Corinthians 10:13 “No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it”.
Romans 3:23 “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,”
Acts 3:19 “Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.”
We cannot live in sin and pretend to serve God such services are not acceptable before God. When we claim to be righteous, the Bible says in Isaiah 64:6 “But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousness is as filthy rags; ---” God says our righteousness is like our filthy rags before God. When we recognize that we are sinners before God and need to be made right then we must make all conscious efforts to repent from our sinful nature and turn to God for cleansing.

Thought for the day: Seek to have a right standing with God, because without holiness no man shall see the Lord.

Song for the day: I surrender, all to Him my blessed savior I surrender.

Bible reading for the day:  Isaiah 55-56; 2 Thessalonians 1

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. FACTS TO BE UNDERSTOOD ON REVELATION MESSAGES WEDNESDAY JANUARY 11 TEXT: NUMBERS 12: 4-8. Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
