God bless you for taking your time to study.

REASONS FOR YOUR TESTS AND TRIALS

TEXT: DEUTERONOMY 8:1-8, 16
SUNDAY OCTOBER 9th

Key verse: Proverbs 8:13 “The LORD fears to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate”
God designed life in such a way that man must live by faith in Him. Your challenges in life are but courses; at the end, you will receive a certificate. The suffering you are experiencing now will come to an end and you will wear a crown. Let nobody make you give up the crown awaiting you. The following are the reasons for your test and trial. God wants “to humble thee”: Pride was the cause of the fall of Satan. He wanted to be like God and desired worship. Herod exalted himself and received praise from men and was smitten by angels, eaten by worms, and died. The reason God will destroy the world is pride: Pride corrupts the wisdom of God in man. God in His love wants to take away pride so that man can be humbled and enter heaven. Humility, therefore, is the wisdom of God for you, pray for it.
God wants “to prove thee”: You must be tested. Both Satan and man will test you. If your husband, wife, friends, or office Boss can make you change your conviction, it means you are not truly converted and the scripture says your strength is small. God wants “to know what is in your heart”: Trials will make a man speak out what is in his heart. The job was tried but he did not lose his righteousness. Never give up your righteousness easily in times of trouble like Job’s wife who spoke out her heart to curse God. Be cautious about what you say when sickness, lack of money, and affliction come your way. God wants to know “Whether thou will keep His commandment or not”: When God allows afflictions, pressure, challenges, and tensions in your life, He wants to know how you will react, whether in obedience or disobedience unto Him. There is no condition under which you must obey God’s commandment, it is at all times. God sees you, not he who causes you to sin. Obedience brings blessing: Abraham believed and obeyed God and it was counted unto him for righteousness.

Thought for the day: God’s test and trial are for your promotion. Never give up.

Song for the day: I will never let the devil win the battle.

Bible reading for the day:

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. FACTS TO BE UNDERSTOOD ON REVELATION MESSAGES WEDNESDAY JANUARY 11 TEXT: NUMBERS 12: 4-8. Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
