PROMOTE YOUR SPIRITUAL WELL BEING

God bless you for taking your time to study.

TOPIC: PROMOTE YOUR SPIRITUAL WELL BEING

TEXT: DEUTERONOMY 6:5-7
TUESDAY OCTOBER 4th

Key verse: Romans 12:11 Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord.
Observe adequate quiet time with God. If you are too busy in the morning, then create another period. Even in your office, you can create time to be with God. Many years ago, as an office worker; I would trek for long distances and use the opportunity to pray on the way because it was not possible for me to pray in the office. Rather, I would pray on my way to and from the office and that way I would have had a good time with God in prayer. It made me feel good and fulfilled. Make personal spiritual commitment. Sometimes ago, I decided that I would be listening to four messages per day for one week. That commitment was heavy; it took me up to midnight listening to the messages. I sometimes stood up to ensure that I did not sleep due to exhaustion. The Lord saw my determination and helped me achieve my target. I listened to 28 messages in one week. Discipline yourself by making valuable commitments to help your Christian life.
Meet your target in HOREMOW assignments. The assignments that are given to members are in obedience to a direct instruction from the Lord those assignments be given to members; youths, women and leaders to keep them alive and fresh spiritually. All believers are to take them seriously in order to maintain a consistent life of holiness and righteousness required to go to heaven. Therefore, do not play with the assignments; daily prayers, Bible reading, reading of books and listening to the messages. Plan feasible prayer time: Diligently follow your prayer schedule. Observe fasting and vigils. Join others in spiritual activities. As a leader, when the members of your chapter are praying, join them. As you train them for heaven, partake in the rigorous exercises that will make you alert spiritually. The Lord gave us a message, “When people are praying, you and your wife should join them. I want people to labour in prayer and I will reward them.” Seek counsel on how to do it well and you will have victory over the enemy.

Thought for the day: Manage your spiritual life diligently

Song for the day: Fill my cup, Lord; I lift it up Lord…

Bible reading for the day: Isaiah 29-30; Ephesians 6

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. FACTS TO BE UNDERSTOOD ON REVELATION MESSAGES WEDNESDAY JANUARY 11 TEXT: NUMBERS 12: 4-8. Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
