THE GREAT COMMISSION OF CHRIST

God bless you for taking your time to study.

TOPIC: THE GREAT COMMISSION OF CHRIST

TEXT: MATTHEW 28:18-20

MONDAY AUGUST 15th

Key verse: Mark 16:20. And they went forth, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.
Jesus Christ and the apostles preached that: All disciples of Jesus Christ are commissioned by the Lord to go into the world and preach the gospel to every human creature. The commission given entails going out to tell sinners everywhere the goodness of salvation in Christ, baptizing those who accept or believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and teaching the believers all the word of God. This involves:
I. Personal  evangelism: one-on-one preaching
II. Crusade evangelism: mass evangelism
III. Literature evangelism: Christian books, tracts, journals, magazines, etc.
IV. Media evangelism: TV, Radio, Internet, social media, and every legitimate way of passing the gospel of Jesus to the perishing world.
The great commission has two components: To bring sinners to repentance and faith in Christ for their salvation from sin and to teach the believers or disciples all the word of God written in the bible. This is required for their freedom, holiness, righteousness, victory, fruitfulness, and eternal life. It is not enough for a man to be born again, he needs to know and practice scriptural truths and doctrines required for the security of his Christian faith. Without full obedience to every word of God and holiness, no man shall see the Lord.
It is not good to be in ignorance. Ignorance of the requirement of eternal life will hinder one from possessing it. All true believers and churches are working for one cause and so should learn to work together required to win the world for Jesus. The great commission calls for wisdom and dedication in Christ’s disciples.
Thought for the day: Dedicate yourself daily to fulfilling the great commission.
Song for the day: Isaiah heard the voice of the Lord…
Bible reading for the day:
Psalms 103-104 Romans 14

For taking your time to study remain blessed. UNDERSTANDING ETERNITY WEDNESDAY MAY 10 TEXT: Psalm 90: 1 - 2 Key Verse: “The Lord is King forever and ever: the heathen are perished out of his land Psalm 10:16 People that understand eternity are always careful. Eternity means forever and ever, it means ever-lasting, ever-living, never dying. Trillion upon trillion years, eternity is still on, in fact it is life without end. There are two extreme ends of eternity: The kingdom of God called third heaven where God the Father, God the son, God the Holy Ghost, twenty-four elders, saints of God that make heaven, holy angels of God, and entire host of heaven dwell now presently; Hell-fire, where Satan, demons, and sinners that have died in their sins are presently kept. God is the One that introduced eternity. He lives forever. It is not a choice, the One who created us is forever, hence you will live forever, but what matters is where you will live eternally. Remove God from the way, then t...
Every Word Of God For Daily Living For taking your time to study remain blessed July Tuesday 9th TOPIC: WE ARE IN THE TWILIGHT HOUR OF RAPTURE TEXT: Ephesians 5:26-27 KEY VERSE: Hebrews 9:28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation. Seeing the traces of the features of the next dispensation in this present dispensation, you should know that you are in the twilight hour. What is a twilight hour? A twilight hour is that hour of the day that you begin to see the traces of the night while it is still daylight (probably 7:00pm to 7:30pm). It is not completely dark, yet it is not complete bright either. While it is still day, you are seeing the traces of the night. A twilight hour is the hour when you are still in this dispensation but you are already seeing traces of the next. The twilight hour is the time that our Lord Jesus Christ was born and even though He came with the New Test...
