ENSURE YOU MARRY IN THE WILL OF GOD

God bless you for taking your time to study.

ENSURE YOU MARRY IN THE WILL OF GOD

TEXT: Psalm 37: 4-7

WEDNESDAY AUGUST 10th

Key verse: Proverbs 18: 22 “Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good and obtaineth favor of the Lord”
God has so favored HOREMOW in its few years of existence by causing convictions in the hearts of people worldwide that the Holiness of life is God’s demand and standard for Christians to enter heaven.  Given this, we have seen a body of believers across Church denominations worldwide submitting to the truth of God’s word emphasized and practiced in this Movement. It is easier now to find professing members of HOREMOW in various states and nations. We know that the Lord is the Doer of these things because He said the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Lord as the waters cover the sea. Knowing this, there is a need to guide our unmarried youths with some scriptural facts and those who desire to marry amongst us to enable them to marry decently and in the will of God.
Psalm 37:5-7
5 Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him, and he shall bring it to pass. 6 And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday. 7 Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.
As you desire a spouse from the Lord, first ensure you are a child of God and that your desired marriage partner is a true child of God. Put your faith and confidence in God. Pray fervently and persistently. God will surely answer you. Report your intention to your Christian leader for guidance and counseling. Avoid sinful and worldly methods of getting a marriage partner. Know the ways that God leads in marriage. Communication of your response should be based on your convictions from the Lord. Ensure you obtain parental consent. Make proper inquiries to ensure your partner was not legally married before.

Thought for the day: Let Your will be done and not mine

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. FACTS TO BE UNDERSTOOD ON REVELATION MESSAGES WEDNESDAY JANUARY 11 TEXT: NUMBERS 12: 4-8. Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
