GROSS MISCONCEPTION ON THE USE OF JEWELRY

GROSS MISCONCEPTION ON THE USE OF JEWELRY

TEXT: EXODUS 33: 4-6

WEDNESDAY AUGUST 17th

KEY VERSE Isaiah 61:10 “I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, my soul shall be joyful in my God, for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation. He hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.”
The church is in a great dilemma concerning the use of jewelry. Many have used several misunderstood scriptures to comfort themselves and to silence the voice of their conscience on the use of jewelry. Many Christians often argue that it was God that instructed that the jewels be put on the sons and daughters of Israel. It was not strange because having stayed in Egypt for a time without the knowledge of God, Israelites were practicing idolatry and the use of jewelry went together with idolatry. Their use did not continue in the dressing pattern among godly Israel. It could also be considered that putting jewelry on their sons and daughters was for preservation until they would be required in the wilderness.
God demands the total stripping off of ornaments from every Christian that has the goal of making heaven just as it happened among the children of God on mount Horeb. Those who understand the coming judgment of God and the evil that will befall mankind keep away all forms of jewelry but in churches where the usual practice is jumping and dancing, a celebration of worldly lifestyle, none among them will experience godly sorrow which leads to repentance.
The clothing of God over His children is salvation and righteousness which gives great spiritual glory and joy. To clear this confusion in the body of Christ, God has taken many people from different races, tribes, and nations to heaven and hell to receive clarity on the use of jewelry by holy Christians. The scripture is very clear about the use of jewelry if only you approach it with an open heart.
Thought for the day: Heaven’s glory exceeds the fading beauty of the earth.
Song for the day: You take the whole world and give me Jesus………..

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. FACTS TO BE UNDERSTOOD ON REVELATION MESSAGES WEDNESDAY JANUARY 11 TEXT: NUMBERS 12: 4-8. Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
