WALK AS CHILDREN OF LIGHT

FOR TAKING YOUR TIME TO STUDY THE WORD OF GOD REMAIN BLESSED.

TUESDAY 13th JULY
WALK AS CHILDREN OF LIGHT
TEXT: 1 John 1:5-7
Key verse: Ephesians 5:8 For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord:
walk as children of light:

The first pronouncement of God at creation was, “Let there be light!” Before that pronouncement, the world was in total darkness and void. As man cannot see in darkness, so God cannot operate in darkness. God is light and there is no darkness in Him at all. Jesus is the light of the world. He brought the gospel message to turn people from darkness to light, from sinfulness to holiness, to save them from hell and give them eternal life in heaven. John 1:4, 5 In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
Darkness belongs to Satan and his human agents. It is their comfort zone. They are comfortable there because darkness provides for them a cover to perpetuate sin and do all kinds of evil. Being people under satanic manipulation and deception, they think since men cannot see the wickedness they are doing, God Himself does not see them and cannot bring them to account.
John 3:19-21 And this is the condemnation, that light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. If you belong to God, you will operate in the light. Nobody lights a lamp and hides it under the table. He lights it to brighten the room so he puts it on the table. In your word, in your thought, and in your deed, let it be clear to all that see and hear you that truly you belong to the light. Have nothing to do with the evil deeds of darkness like stealing, cheating, lying, immorality, and every form of godlessness. Stop sinning and live holy. 1 Thessalonians 5:5 Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night nor of darkness.

Thought for the day: As a child of light, abstain from all appearances of evil.
Song for the day: Heaven is holy, you must be holy, no sinner will enter there.
Bible reading for the day: Psalm 10-12; Acts 17:16-34

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. January Saturday 18th TOPIC: HOW TO ATTAIN BIBLE HOLINESS TEXT: Romans 6:20-23 KEY VERSE: Romans 6:22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. Besides the essential knowledge of the holy life of a Christian, it is good to understand the manner and process of becoming holy before God. Holiness of life is a life that has overcome sin through the saving power of Jesus Christ. Romans 6:22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. It is a life that does not commit sin. 1John 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for His seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. Getting this experience requires four things: 1. Know that apart from holiness, there is no alternative lifestyle for heaven. Hebrews 12:14 Follow peace with all men, and holin...
