CONTINUAL PRAYER GIVES VICTORY OVER THE ENEMY

FOR TAKING YOUR TIME TO STUDY THE WORD OF GOD REMAIN BLESSED

DATE: SATURDAY 24th JULY

TOPIC: CONTINUAL PRAYER GIVES VICTORY
OVER THE ENEMY

TEXT: Luke 18:1-5

Key verse: Matthew 21:22 And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

Here is prayer warfare: prayer against your enemies, prayer against the devil and prayer against the forces of darkness contending with you. The force against you is a strong one. The power you are contending with maybe a strong power like the widow's experience in today's devotional text.

The Bible says the judge was wicked. He had no fear of God, neither did he regard man. Who then would move him? This was the kind of person this helpless widow was facing in battle. The widow came to him and said, “My opponent is taking away my property. Please judge the case between me and my opponent and give me back my property.”

But this judge was so wicked that he did not respect the widow. He did not pity the widow. But there was one weapon that the widow used, which the Lord revealed to be very powerful and effective against the enemy. That weapon is continual praying, continual calling upon God and continual coming to God in prayer. It is important in prayer!

There was a kind of resisting force; an evil attitude from the man against her. Each time that widow came, she stood helpless and weak. But she kept coming all the same. She was not discouraged but kept coming and this weighed down on the wicked man.

Although the man was resisting, his resistance died with time. His resistance faded with time and he had to give up and bow to the pressure. Eventually, he must have said to himself, “I am dying, I had better settle this matter for I am made restless by this weapon of continual coming.”

The Lord is saying, no matter how powerful those demonic forces are, keep on praying, keep on calling on the Name of Jesus and keep on reciting the scriptures. Every time you pray, you release a great force and attack against the enemy.

Every time you say something, pray or quote God's promises, sing a song and manifest your faith against the devil, you are releasing a great force against him and he will eventually bow to your superior power. That is the truth. By continual praying, you can overcome a strong enemy. Why should you strike once and run? No, keep on bombarding the enemy until he gives way for you!

Thought for the day: Your relentless prayer is a strong weapon against your powerful enemy.

Song for the day: There's nothing prayer cannot do, Jesus answers prayers….

Bible reading for the day: Psalm 41-43;
Acts 24. #Horemow

Signs And Wonders Should Be According To Biblical Pattern

God's blessings shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Signs And Wonders Should Be According To Biblical Pattern Text: Mark 16: 17 – 20 Wednesday May 8th Key verse: Obadiah 17 “Upon mount Zion shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions.” God has prepared to direct us on holy service unto Himself. He tells us when the lives and services of people are corrupt because from the heart of men proceed the works they do. When people are righteous and holy, their service is also righteous and holy. Hence, the word says, make the people holy then their service will be holy, so if you accept to live a life of holiness, then the fruit of your service will be holy. So, it is very important to accept the life of holiness because the God that made you is holy; He will give you grace to be holy. You just make up your mind to be holy. Do not accept that no man can be holy; then Jesus came for nothing, Jes...
REMAIN BLESSED AS YOU TAKE YOUR TIME TO STUDY THE WORD OF GOD AMEN. PRAY CONSTANTLY                                                                      FRIDAY 11 MARCH TEXT: Luke 18: 1-7 Key verse: 1 Thessalonians 5:17; Pray without ceasing. I wish My children, whilst upon earth, to live more and more with Me in “the heavenly places”. Here, there is no fear or hurry or fret of spirit. I am gratified when you wait upon Me –which waiting I always honour. My thoughts, as you wait upon Me, are impressed upon you: all that I am must be increasingly absorbed by you. It is as you wait upon Me that I give to you that sense of calm assurance which you must carry about with you always. It comes from knowing that everything you have committed to Me is being surely worked out. Yes, immerse yourself in Me –and do ...
