THE WORD OF GOD IS THE FOUNDATION
UPON WHICH FAITH STANDS
TEXT: Isaiah 55:10-11
Key Verse: Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing
by the word of God.

The foundation of the faith of a believer in the word of God.  The word of God is the production room of the faith that he or she exercises.  His or her faith has a foundation in what God says in His word.  Faith seeks for what God has said to stand upon.  Have you seen the promises of God for you from the word? Have you seen God's message for you in the scriptures?  Believe it.  It shall surely come to pass and that will enhance your faith for subsequent needs of your life, “God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?” Numbers 23:19.
The just is a tireless student of the word of God.  The more he studies and hears, the more his faith in God increases. When you begin to stay far away from the word, you are distancing yourself from faith.  No word of God, no faith in God.  That is why in any place where the true word of God is preached, the just is expected to create the chance to be there, else the obituary of his faith will soon be announced.  Develop the habit of constantly studying and listening to God's word preached by His true ministers and you shall emerge a giant in faith. They just believe that the word of God cannot fail.

According to today's reading text, when the word of God is released, it shall prosper and accomplish the task for which it is released. The word of God causes the earth to bring forth fruit. The word of God is capable of causing the earth to bring forth the desires of the heart of the righteous. The word of the Lord can change our circumstances and cause things to work according to the will of God for us.  The word of God, therefore, forms a reliable foundation for the faith of the just. It is food for our souls that nourishes and grows our faith.
Thought for the day: Stand on the word of God and you will never fail or fall.
Song for the day: Standing on the word, standing on the word of God
Bible reading for the day: Job 21-22; Acts 10:1-23

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. January Saturday 18th TOPIC: HOW TO ATTAIN BIBLE HOLINESS TEXT: Romans 6:20-23 KEY VERSE: Romans 6:22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. Besides the essential knowledge of the holy life of a Christian, it is good to understand the manner and process of becoming holy before God. Holiness of life is a life that has overcome sin through the saving power of Jesus Christ. Romans 6:22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. It is a life that does not commit sin. 1John 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for His seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. Getting this experience requires four things: 1. Know that apart from holiness, there is no alternative lifestyle for heaven. Hebrews 12:14 Follow peace with all men, and holin...
