LIVING IN LOVE AMONG BRETHREN

FOR  TAKING YOUR TIME TO STUDY THE WORD OF GOD REMAIN BLESSED

DATE: THURSDAY 22 JULY

TOPIC: LIVING IN LOVE AMONG BRETHREN

TEXT: 1 John 4:7-8

Key verse:  1 John 4:11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love
one another.

What makes Heaven beautiful is not the properties in Heaven. It is not the buildings or mansions of Heaven. It is the love of God that is spread abroad in Heaven; it is the love of God that sinks into the very cells of the occupants of Heaven. They feel very happy, they are excited, they are happy.

What makes a little child rejoice and start laughing as the mother throws him up when she plays with him? It is not the food in the feeding bottle, but the excitement of the love of the mother. As the mother plays with the child, the child is excited and he keeps laughing. There is joy in his heart because he is loved.

What makes people very happy in the church is love. When they come to the church and they see smiles on the faces of the people towards them; they see love; they see good relationships from brethren, friends and those that love them.

These make them want to go to church. They go to church because they will find lovers there. Everything is fine and the word they are going to hear is the word of love. Even if it is a hard word they still see love in it, so they are happy.

What makes the family a happy place is a love. When there is love in the family, the people feel happy and they always want to go home to see their brother, or sister, or family members. It is the love shown by one to another. What makes us happy before God is His love.

God loves because God is love. He is a bundle of love. The song says: I know He loves me better; whatsoever maybe, I will follow Him. Each one of the billions of people on earth can sing this song well because they see God loving them.

Even the animals, the birds and the beasts of the field that don't have sense still feel happy. You see birds jumping from one branch of the tree to another because there is the excitement of love from their Creator. Key into this love and share it abroad too.

Thought for the day:  Love is the greatest commandment.

Song for the day:  Bind us together Lord, bind us together in love that cannot….

Bible reading for the day:  Psalm 36-37;
Acts 23:1-11. #Horemow

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. January Saturday 18th TOPIC: HOW TO ATTAIN BIBLE HOLINESS TEXT: Romans 6:20-23 KEY VERSE: Romans 6:22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. Besides the essential knowledge of the holy life of a Christian, it is good to understand the manner and process of becoming holy before God. Holiness of life is a life that has overcome sin through the saving power of Jesus Christ. Romans 6:22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. It is a life that does not commit sin. 1John 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for His seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. Getting this experience requires four things: 1. Know that apart from holiness, there is no alternative lifestyle for heaven. Hebrews 12:14 Follow peace with all men, and holin...
