FOR TAKING YOUR TIME TO STUDY THE WORD OF GOD REMAIN BLESSED.
MONDAY JULY 5th
LEADERS SHOULD RULE
RIGHTEOUSLY AS THEY WILL GIVE ACCOUNT TO GOD
2 Thessalonians 3:7-9
Key Verse: 1 Timothy 4:12 Let no man despise thy youth, but be thou an example of
the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.
Leader, pray for yourself, pray for the people, pray to know what you will do, pray to know what you will say so that the Lord will guide you in every respect. Reject anger and be patient. The anger in your life weakens the people you are leading. It is a temptation to them. They will not fear God anymore but you; and they will seek to please you. Your anger makes the people confused. Be patient because people are bound to make mistakes. Even if it were to be you, you will make mistakes. Why do you behave as if everyone should do everything perfectly at once? Bear it to give the people room to develop. Seek wisdom; seek understanding. Again, make proper investigation on things before taking final decision or before you rebuke (John 7:24). What you have heard or what has been reported is hearsay. Inquire! Don't say you have known. Make a diligent search. Ask questions. Behold, if it is true then judgment must come. The appropriate judgment should be taken because it is God's judgment. Don't hesitate to take judgment on a man because you pity him. Don't spare him or conceal him. This approach is also applicable to prophesy. Check well. Confirm from scriptures; confirm from God before you accept any prophecy.
Leaders are thou examples of the believers. Provide for honest things in the sight of God ann the sight of all men. In dealing with women, be transparent enough. In yourcounsellingg room, don't give room for suspicion. Don't close the door while counselling the opposite sex. In money matters, get receipt where possible, explain where possible. The people should be assured that you are just and righteous. In Hebrews 13:7 the scripture calls the leader a ruler, a watchman. Rule as they that will give account to God. Be careful because you will give report about those who were with you and have left. You will report how they left, your role in their leaving, and what you have done to recover them since they left. You will give an account of all to God. Deal patiently; deal in love. Be firm, be meek, be truthful, be faithful. It may look hard, but God's help will come and the grace of God will see you through. The Lord bless you, bless your ministry and grant you entrance into heaven in Jesus name.
