GET YOUR PRIORITIES RIGHT IN THIS LIFE

FOR TAKING YOUR TIME TO STUDY THE WORD OF GOD REMAIN BLESSED.

DATE: THURSDAY 29th JULY

TOPIC: GET YOUR PRIORITIES RIGHT IN THIS LIFE

TEXT: Matthew 6:25-34

Key verse:  Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness;
and all these things shall be added unto you.

Don't be careless with life. It is dangerous for your soul. Some circumstances come upon some people and make them lose hope and begin to live carelessly as if all is lost. This should not be so.

One of such circumstances is widowhood. Widowhood should not make you lose your focus in life as a Christian. If you have the right orientation about life, you will discover that even in your widowhood, you can live better for God and serve God better

Are you ready to live for Jesus? Are you ready to take widowhood as a higher divine calling? Do you want to escape hell and go to heaven? Then get your priorities right!

Some wrong priorities beset widows. One of such is the passionate desire for marriage. Scripturally, a widow or widower doesn't need to remarry before life can go on.

Corinthians 7:27 Art thou bound unto a wife? seek not to be loosed. Art thou loosed from a wife? seek not a wife.  But it is not also a sin to remarry even though there is something higher than marriage.

1 Corinthians 7:28  But and if thou marry, thou hast not sinned; and if a virgin marries, she hath not sinned. Nevertheless such shall have trouble in the flesh: but I spare you. If your body burns for sex it is better to remarry than to continue to burn in sin

(1 Corinthians 7:7-9).  Even under that circumstance, it is still not a top priority because you could even marry the wrong person who will lead you away from God.

Money is another preoccupation of people at the expense of eternal life. Truly all of us need money because money answereth all things, yet money should not be the priority of your life. Some turn themselves into prostitutes sleeping about with men for money. This should not be so.

Mark 8:36, For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

Everybody needs food to survive yet, food is not the top priority of life. Some have even turned themselves into traditional beggars because of food, moving from house to house. Make God the provider of your daily bread and keep your honour. Make God, heaven and eternal life the priorities of your life.

Thought for the day: Get your priorities right for the salvation of your soul...

Song for the day: Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness….

THE LORD IS REMOVING UNCIRCUMCISED LEADERS

REMAIN BLESSED AS YOU TAKE YOUR TIME TO STUDY THE WORD OF GOD. THURSDAY 30 DECEMBER THE LORD IS REMOVING UNCIRCUMCISED LEADERS TEXT: NUMBERS 14: 26-31  Key verse: Matthew 20:16 So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many  be called, but few chosen. Completion of the angelic message: The Lord continued. “Because of this mandate given to you, I am removing around you the uncircumcised leaders. I am going to fill their place with righteous and holy leaders from various nations and races.” Truly I had pondered if any minister has suffered like this. People I loved, cherished and lived peacefully with suddenly began to speak evil against me to my shock. Well, it happens in politics, but is limited to their countries, whereas mine is international! Yes, some ministers may have suffered these things, but that was before the advent of the Internet, so their sufferings were limited. Maybe through letters or newspapers for a limited time, but my own is in the world of the I...
