TOPIC: EVEN IN YOUR WEAKNESS, YOU CAN STILL DO GREAT EXPLOITS FOR GOD
TEXT: 2 Kings 7:3-16
KEY VERSE: Isaiah 35:3 Strengthen ye the weak hands, and confirm the feeble knees.

The story of the four lepers in today’s bible reading is an interesting one. Were they not miserable? They were even more miserable than other people that were perishing in the land. They said to themselves, “Let's go to the camp of the Assyrians. If they kill us, let us die. If they spare us, then they would give us food as they want.” It was by the inspiration of God that they went and to their utmost surprise, they discovered treasures. But which hands did these lepers use to work that they earned the reward of gold and silver? How come that the people with complete fingers had no food to eat, but they without had even surplus to spare? This is nothing but the mercy of God! Nothing but the miracle of God! And these lepers said to each other, “Come, we are dancing up and down here, eating chicken and turkey meat, rejoicing, celebrating, and drinking; but our people are in the city surrounded by the wall and under siege of the enemy. They are perishing there and eating one another. These are the days of glad tidings. The day to announce that God has opened a way on the high seas. The day to announce that there is a discovery; the discovery of righteousness and of the true gospel. These are the days of good tidings. Let us go and tell the king’s household. If we tarry, mischief will come upon us. How many people have already been eaten up in the city? How many people are dying every hour in the city while we are here?” So, they arose and went into the city to spread the Good News.

Rise up, you that the Lord has shown mercy. Were you not like the lepers? Was your case not worse than others? Your sin was like that of the harlot that Jesus remarked “She has sinned much, that is why she is demonstrating much love.” Now, can you imagine the mercy the Lord showed to you when you were in that church and he brought you out? Are you not grateful that God brought you out of the dungeon of Satan? Would you not like to see other people still locked up there to be set free, cleansed up, and prepared in readiness for rapture? Emulate the lepers, rise up on your feet and spread the Good News for the salvation of perishing souls.
Thought for the day: Make soul-winning a top priority of life.
Song for the day: It pays to serve Jesus I speak from my heart….

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
