TOPIC: RESTITUTION OF FALSE DECLARATION OF MARITAL STATUS – By Sis Florence (France)
TEXT: Jeremiah 3:12-13
KEY VERSE: Proverbs 28:13 He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.
Testimony 1: Before I genuinely gave my life to Christ, some years ago I had gone to the Local Council with a man who falsely declared himself as the father of my daughter. I had paid him to carry out this evil act just to enable me acquire France document that will enable me stay legally in the country. After joining Holiness Revival Movement (HOREMOW) in April 2013, I realized that I had to do my restitution. My daughter called Praise, who was then 13 years old, had always seen herself differently in the house. She wasn't sure if my husband was her biological father because she had asked me several times why she was bearing a different surname from every other person in the house. She had also always asked me why she looked different from her siblings.
Finally, I did my restitution to Praise and the social worker who was working with us. I also testified in the high court that the name she was bearing wasn't her real name. Some people were afraid I might go to jail but I kept my cool, trusting God that all will be well. One day, they visited my house and told me that they had looked into our situation and have decided to officially change the surname of my daughter to my husband's name. They also undertook to help every member of my family to have France nationality. They started the process immediately and after a short while, my daughter's name was published in the journal of 10th of May 2019 to the glory of God. Amen. I give God all the glory for His divine intervention. Instead of facing criminal charges, I received favour. My daughter Praise is now free from all the burdens and questions she had been carrying in her heart since childhood as a result of my sin. She is so happy indeed. Amen.
Testimony 2: I also want to thank the Most High God for blessing my family with another beautiful baby girl even when I wasn't expecting it. It was a very smooth pregnancy but at a stage, the doctors said my baby was in a sitting position which required frequent check-ups. The power and the presence of God was manifested in the program that was held in France 7th to 9th June 2019. The baby changed position immediately after the program and I visited the hospital few days later where the doctor confirmed that the baby had turned head downwards ready for delivery. I thank God for giving me the grace and strength to deliver like the Hebrew women. Amen!
