TOPIC: PAY YOUR TITHES REGULARLY AND FAITHFULLY
TEXT: Genesis 14:17-20
KEY VERSE: Genesis 14:20 And blessed be the most high God, which hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand. And he gave him tithes of all.

Tithing is not optional, it is obligatory for every true believer who desires to live in total obedience to the word of God in readiness for heaven. The first tither was father Abraham who gave a tenth of his spoils of war to Melchizedek. Even now tithe is also paid to Jesus who is our High Priest forever in the order of Melchizedek. One-tenth of your earning and agricultural produce belongs to God and is holy. This is paid unto God as tithes. Tithe is paid on salary, wages, dividends, interest, farm produce, and gains. Tithe is given to the store house of God. The store house is a place where resources are needed for the work of God. A place where truth, righteousness and holiness prevail, sinners are reached with true gospel message, believers are made holy and fruitful through the teaching of the undiluted word of God and exemplary living. In this regard, care must be taken not to pay tithe into unholy assemblies where their resources are to further the work of Satan and not the work of God. You will know them by the false doctrines they preach and their sinful lifestyle.

2 John 10-11 If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: 11 For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.
Matthew 7:6 Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.

Be guided by the following in paying your tithe:

(a) Do not give your tithes to sinful pastors.
(b) Do not give your tithe to churches which are not following the truth of God.
(c) Do not support evil preachers nor sponsor false doctrines with God’s holy money in your hand.
(d) Evil or wrong use of your tithes will earn you God’s judgment.
(e) Give your tithes to the ministry of true and righteous preachers.
(f) Support churches and Christian ministries committed to truth, righteousness and holiness.
(g) Right and faithful use of your tithes and offering will earn you blessings both now and in heaven.

Thought for the day: Be wise in paying your tithe. Do not sow on barren soil.
Song for the day: When Jesus comes to reward His servants
Bible reading for the day:
Numbers 34-36; Mark 10:32-52

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
