TOPIC: FERVENT IN WORSHIP BUT SINCERELY WRONG
TEXT: ISAIAH 5:13-14
KEY VERSE: Hosea 4:6: My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee…

There are many religious men and women in our world today whose heart pant fervently after God, but are sincerely wrong and condemnable in His sight because they fall below the righteous standard of His word. This is so because they were born into a family that are dedicated followers of religions that denounce the Lordship of Jesus Christ, the Saviour. But in their heart, they think they are serving God in the right way. Unless a man believes on JESUS he cannot have eternal life. John14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me. John 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. That is the eternal destiny of those who reject Jesus Christ, the Saviour of the world.

Again, there are worshippers in the Christian faith who also worship God in ignorance. Although they are in church and are truly dedicated to God’s service and their leaders, they are misinformed and are not taught the WHOLE doctrine of Truth as outlined in the Scriptures. It is so sad to know that these two groups of people will end up their journey in HELL FIRE, despite their commitment and sacrifice. The God, who did not excuse King Abimelech in Genesis 20, but declared judgment on him for his misdeed in spite of his sincerity of heart, will not excuse these people. He shall not pity them for their ignorance, but shall surely condemn them to hell fire in spite of their sincerity. This is one of the great dangers of following after ignorant and false pastors, teachers and prophets who give false hope and assurance, guaranteeing their beguiled followers that “all is well,” when the exact opposite is the case.  Matthew 15:14 Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And when the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch. Ignorance is deadly; it kills the soul and damns it into everlasting fire. Eternal truth is in Jesus and His word, receive it and do not reject it, for the sake of your soul. Proverbs 23:23 Buy the truth, and sell it not; also wisdom, and instruction, and understanding.

Thought for the day: Sincerity is not a cure for ignorance. Only truth can cure it.
Song for the day: I want to know you more and more.
Bible reading for the day:
Deuteronomy 28; Mark 15:27-47

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
