TOPIC: THE SIN AND EVIL IN WOMEN WEARING TROUSERS – Part 2
TEXT: 1 Corinthians 8:11-13
KEY VERSE: Ecclesiastes 10:1  Dead flies cause the ointment of the apothecary to send forth a stinking savour: so doth a little folly him that is in reputation for wisdom and honour.

3. HINDRANCE TO THE SALVATION OF OTHERS: Some of these trousers-wearing women may be born again and endued with grace by the Holy Spirit, but they cannot do much for God as friends that He desires. The trousers they put on closes gospel doors against them. Their ministration is considered as a service coming from an unholy vessel. Many turn away from them permanently. They do not only close many gospel doors against themselves, but also their husbands, who move with them in ministry. 2 Corinthians 8:20-21; Romans 14:13.
4. MANY BELIEVERS AND MINISTERS PERISH SILENTLY. The men and ministers of the Churches that permit this evil dressing perish silently through lust in their hearts or through actual immorality. This may not be known now, but the day of judgment will reveal it. The church must not pretend that all is well when lust is being spread around. Ministers of the gospel must rebuke it to prevent its spread. 1 Corinthians 15:33; Proverbs 7:26-27.
5. HARDNESS OF HEART AGAINST THE TRUTH. The hearts of many Christian women are hardened against this truth of scripture. Satan has fortified them with strong arguments, giving them preachers who interpret the scriptures to their favour. 2 Timothy 4:3-4.
6. TEMPTATION TO RIGHTEOUS WOMEN. Some of these trousers-wearing women are people of influence in the church and society. They manifest great zeal for Christ and possess one spiritual gift or the other. These qualities confuse, deceive and lure ignorant righteous women into wearing trousers, thinking God approves it. God cannot approve what His word has decreed against. If they do not repent and stop, they will not enter heaven. Matthew 7: 21-23; Psalm 50:16,17,21,22.
7. CONTAMINATION OF CHILDREN. This evil practice is transferred to their children, when they are still young and ignorant, thus damaging their conscience at tender age. When these grow up, they do worse than their parents, without the slightest feeling of guilt. Ezekiel 16:44,47.
8. OPEN DOOR TO UNRIGHTEOUS DECREE BY SECULAR INSTITUTIONS. Since the use of trousers by women has been legalized by many churches, many schools are introducing it as uniform for the female students. Many governmental and non-governmental institutions provide trousers for their female workers, to the harm of the godly ones. The holiness churches must cry out to God along with the psalmist: Psalm 12:1; Daniel 1:8.

Thought for the day: Let not what you do cause another to stumble.
Song for the day: Open my eyes O Lord, Holy Spirit (3x) I am ready, to obey, I am ready…
Bible reading for the day:
Joshua 7-8; Luke 2:25-52

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
