TOPIC: LET THE HOLY SPIRIT BEAUTIFY YOUR MARRIAGE CHARACTER
TEXT: Ezekiel 36:24-27
KEY VERSE: Psalm 56:10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.

A sinful husband or wife will naturally exhibit unwholesome character in marriage. The best a sinful husband or wife can offer in marriage will still be defiled. Who can bring the clean out of the unclean? Common testimony is, “I know my husband or wife is like this. Can a leopard change its spot?” There is no seminar on character that can reform a sinful man or woman. It is like taking a charcoal and trying to chop it with the hope of seeing white. You will continue chopping until the whole charcoal is grounded into powder. That's how the life of a sinful man or woman is. No human effort can change his character. No seminar lecture can change him. Let him read all the motivational and character transformation books in the world, he will still remain with his filth and uncleanliness. The good news is that that is not the end of the matter – there is hope.

God has a better offer. He has no business with stone or that which is of no value. He is a good God who gives good things to His children. He offers a brand new life in Christ Jesus. A life that is undefiled and without blemish. He offers a life that replicates His very being and character. It is a spiritual regeneration that leads to total transformation from being a sinning husband to a saintly husband the wife will be proud of.   2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

The Holy Spirit is the principal agent of regeneration. John 3:3-6 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

Thought for the day: Invite the Holy Spirit into your life to beautify your marriage.

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
