TOPIC: BELIEVE THE PROMISES OF GOD
TEXT: 2 Peter 1: 2-4
Key verse: “According as His divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him that hath called us to glory and virtue.” 2 Peter 1: 3.

God has given to us great and precious promises that through these promises, you will overcome and experience breakthrough in life. All things will become possible in your life through the promises of God.  Everything that pertains to life and Godliness are in these promises. You can approach God in prayer for a marriage partner based His promise for your life. Claim the promises of God on whatever issue of life and you will see God in action for you. I heard the story of a man whose wife was about to put to bed but the doctor said there was no way she could deliver on her own, except through caesarian operation. The man took the matter to God, standing on the promises of God.  He claimed the promises of God and threw them back to Him and unwaveringly stood on the promises. The wife delivered without operation. The promises of God will work for you because there is a God who stands by His word and backs up these promises.

The Bible says that by these promises we shall be partakers of His divine nature. That means the promises of God can give you access to the fullness of God or whatever is possible with God. These promises of God cover every area of your life (eternal life, marriage, health, business, relationships, spiritual battles, employment etc.). God gave us these promises that we should accept, believe and operate by them.

Thought for the day: He is a covenant-keeping God.
Song for the day: He has promised, He will never fail, I will follow, I will follow Him
Bible reading for the day:
Deuteronomy 14-16; Mark 13:14-37. #Horemow.

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

The local church should teach and train her members on scriptural fasting. Believers need to know that the Lord expects...

The Testimony Of Jesus Is Spirit Of Prophecy.

God's blessings will continually accompany you for dedicating time to your studies. The Testimony Of Jesus Is Spirit Of Prophecy.  Monday 10th November  Text: Jude 1: 2-5 Key verse: Jude 1: 3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. The faith of Jesus has already been delivered and it is written in the scriptures. Whatever prophecies, revelations or dreams that comes must not be contrary to the standard in the scripture. They must speak the same thing. The testimony of Jesus is spirit of prophecy. Every prophecy or revelation must honour Jesus and must be according to the written word. Even where they are new things, they must not contradict because the Bible is a summary of the things Jesus did. The Bible cannot contain all things. It must be according to what the scripture has already signified, ...
