TOPIC: JESUS THE SON OF GOD IS GOD HIMSELF – Part 1
TEXT: John 14:6-11
Key verse: 1John 5:20 And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.

Many stumble at what the son of God means. They wonder if God has a wife. That is human reasoning. God made man in his image; man is three persons in one - spirit, soul and body. Man may be lying down here while his spirit has gone elsewhere. Even as the spirit travels elsewhere, the soul is joined with it. They can be together or separated. Man is three persons in one but still one man. God said let us make man to resemble us; so God is three persons in one. We have one God but he exists in three separate Persons: God the Father, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. These are the three separate persons but one God, just as man is spirit, soul and body but one man. When Jesus came down to the world to become a human being, the Father was still in heaven but Jesus was on earth. Since Jesus was born as a man on earth, every person that is born as a child has to be the son of somebody. This woman did not meet with any man, so no mortal man can claim he is the Father of this Child. He is the Son of who? He is the Son of God, as everybody is claiming he is the son of somebody. He is the Son of God which is saying, I have my origin with God. I am God, One of the three Persons in the Godhead.

He died for the whole world. Jesus finished the work of human salvation before he left the earth. He said it is finished. Why then would another prophet say that God sent another message as if it was not finished? Jesus finished all that was required for human salvation before He left. So whoever said God sent him is not true because Jesus finished all work before He left. What work is any other prophet coming to do? The only prophet we would expect are those that will preach what He has finished and tell mankind about Him, not one that will start another religion. When Jesus resurrected from the dead, He told his disciples that they should go into all the world. He sent them among the Arabs, among the Jews, among the Indians, among the Africans, among the Europeans, into all the world, into all families to preach the gospel to every creature, every man, every woman, and every child. There is no exception! This is because Jesus knew nobody was coming again. I have finished, I am the final word of God, everything has finished, and you just go and preach it. That is the last word on salvation!

Thought for the day: Jesus is the last word on salvation.
Song for the day: He is Lord, He is Lord Amen, He has risen from the death, He is Lord……

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
