TOPIC: CLEANSE YOURSELF FROM DEFILEMENT OF JEWELRY AND UNGODLY ADORNMENTS
TEXT: ROMANS 12:1-2
KEY VERSE: 2 Corinthians 7:1: Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

To the world it is fashion, but in the sight of God it is detestable and an abomination. Luke 16:15 And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God. The God we serve is very jealous for His holiness. Anything that defiles is an abomination to Him. Satan introduced many abominable things into the world of fashion which people cherish for worldly beauty to the damnation of their souls. These include the following:

(a) Perming of the hair.
(b) Use of artificial hair: attachment and weave-on.
(c) Dyeing and colouring the hair.
(d) Use of wool and shining fashion tread.
(e) Use of Cortex and lipsticks.
(g) Body bleaching and painting.
(h) Women wearing exclusive masculine attires.
(i) Men using restrictively feminine wears.
(j) Use of earrings, chains, neckless, beads, bracelets, pearls.

The use of engagement and wedding rings is unscriptural. It is human tradition which defiles the believer before God. Matthew 15: 8, 9 This people draweth nigh unto Me with their mouth, and honoureth Me with their lips; but their heart is far from Me. 9 But in vain they do worship Me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
Colossians 2:6-8 As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in Him: 7 Rooted and built up in Him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

Thought for the day: Those who follow the fashion of the world will perish with the world.
Song for the day: I will never, never go back to the world, never go back, I will never go back
Bible reading for the day:
Numbers 26-27; Mark 8:22-38

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
