Many Christian congregations are ignorant and they argue over truths that can pave their way to heaven. One of such is in clothing and adornment. Many in the church today believe that they are at liberty to dress as they like. They claim that God only looks at the heart and is not concerned with our appearance. Ladies dress in provocative ways that seduce men to lust and sin. Matthew 5:28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart. Women adorn themselves with make-ups, jewelries, ornaments, attachments, wigs and different kinds of artificial things to attract others to themselves, rather than to Jesus Christ our Lord. They wear short skirts, short gowns, trousers (pants) and decorate their eyes and hair with all kinds of artificial materials, all for the purpose of seduction. Although they may want to argue otherwise, that is the truth.

The men are not left behind in this matter. Today we see young men, even the elderly ones wearing earrings, neckless, chains, rings. The married, including enlightened Christians, wear wedding rings. These are all against the scriptures and are damnable (1Timothy 2:8-10). They tattoo themselves, maintain ungodly hair-cut, expose their under wears and come to perform in the church as musicians without the slightest reproof from their parents and pastors. Isaiah 30:8-13 Now go, write it before them in a table, and note it in a book, that it may be for the time to come for ever and ever: That this is a rebellious people, lying children, children that will not hear the law of the Lord: Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits: Get you out of the way, turn aside out of the path, cause the Holy One of Israel to cease from before us. Wherefore thus saith the Holy One of Israel, Because ye despise this word, and trust in oppression and perverseness, and stay thereon: Therefore this iniquity shall be to you as a breach ready to fall, swelling out in a high wall, whose breaking cometh suddenly at an instant.

Thought for the day: Dress to glorify God; not yourself, not Satan.
Song for the day: All the glory must be to the Lord, for He is worthy of our praise, no man.....
Bible reading for the day:
Numbers 5-6; Mark 4:1-20

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
