TOPIC: BLESS HIS HOLY NAME FOR HIS WONDERFUL DEEDS
TEXT: PSALM 96:7-9
Key Verse: “Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless His Holy name” Psalm 103:1.

The Name of the Lord is His person. It is the same thing with the Person of the Lord. To praise the Name of the Lord means to praise the Lord. Exodus 3:14 “And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and He said, thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you”. Psalm 83: 18 “That men may know that Thou, whose Name alone is JEHOVAH, the most high over all the earth”. Matthew 1:21 “And she shall bring forth a Son, and thou shalt call His name JESUS: for He shall save His people from their sins.” The Name of the Lord is our peace, comfort and trust. The name of the Lord is our banner and strong tower. The name of the Lord is great and wonderful. The Name of the Lord is like burning fire and mighty thunder against our enemy. The Name of the Lord is most excellent. It is the Name with the highest authority and power in heaven, in the earth and beneath the earth. The Name of Jesus is an embodiment of all the salvation and blessing of the new covenant: freedom from sin, healing from sickness, deliverance from Satan, victory over the world. The Name of Jesus gives us access to the Father: to His grace, power, love, forgiveness, riches. Through the Name of Jesus, we receive the Holy Spirit, possess His anointing, power, gifts, and calling. Through the Name of Jesus, we are blessed with every spiritual blessing in heavenly places and by His Name we inherit eternal life.

The leader of a great Christian assembly or denomination may have great name among the people, who commend and appreciate him. But care must be taken that his name does not overtake or eclipse the name of the Lord. Do not call the Name of the Lord in vain. The Lord alone is our Saviour. Many forget the supremacy of the Name of the Lord. The Name of Jesus is above all spiritual leaders and their denominations. Promote the Name of Jesus. Worship the Name of Jesus.  Great men and Christian leaders must point their followers to Jesus and discourage them from shifting their focus to them. Some trust and call on the name of Jesus` mother, this is idolatry. Jesus is the only Name that gives salvation to humanity.

Thought for the day: Honour and reverence the Name of Jesus.
Song for the day: Jesus we enthrone you we proclaim you are King…
Bible reading for the day:
Number 1-2; Mark 3:1-21

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
