TOPIC: THE PATIENCE OF FAITH
TEXT: Habakkuk 2:1-4
Key verse: “Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain.” James 5:7

Patience is a compulsory virtue that the just must possess in order for his faith to produce result. All of the heroes of faith mentioned in scripture patiently waited on God for full manifestation of their faith. I want to tell you that you need to strongly trust God in your life. You need to maintain steadfast faith in God in whatever situation. The blessings of faith are sure for the just at various moments of his actions of faith. The blessings come in the time of faith. If you can believe God today, you have done an investment that will yield profit at God’s appointed time.

Faith is a seed. When you sow seeds, they don’t produce at the same time. Some seeds are fast in producing while others take their time and yield some days later. Some seeds may run into many weeks and months to produce. That tells you that God’s dealings with His children on how long their faith will take to materialize differ according to His master plan for the individual. Receive wisdom and courage never to give up and miss out on divine timing. There is time for actualization of faith just as there is time for everything. There is time for performance of our faith. The vision is yet for an appointed time. Though it tarries, wait for it. At the end, it shall speak in its own time and you will see that the word of God cannot be broken.

The word that God has given you will come to pass.  That is why the Bible tells us to believe God and not be faithless.  Jesus said to Thomas, is it because you have seen Me that you believe? Blessed are they that have not seen and yet believe.  Jesus was saying, blessed are those who walk with Me by faith. You have not seen Jesus, but you believe Him; you are a candidate for His blessings.  It shall be well with you in life.  Here, the Bible speaks of faith and patience. You believe God for His intervention in your life, but you have not experienced that intervention yet, be patient and peaceful. Faith works with patience. Wait on God and wait for God. He will do it in His own time.

Thought for the day: Patience is an essential ingredient of faith.

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
