TOPIC: THE PROMISES OF SCRIPTURES
DECEMBER Tuesday 4th
TEXT: Romans 4: 17-22
KEY VERSE: Seek ye out of the book of the LORD, and read: no one of these shall fail, none shall want her mate: for My mouth it hath commanded, and His spirit it hath gathered them. Isaiah 34: 16
The just has unbeatable confidence in the finality of the word of God. The just only needs to see what God is saying and when that happens, he goes on to believe and becomes what he believes. He only needs to see what God has written in His book and believes it to the saving of his soul. That is how the just lives.
Seek diligently for what is written in the Bible (the book of the law) and read.  You must find what is written concerning you, the promises of God for your situation and feed your faith on them to produce your desired testimonies.
The just shall live by his faith in the written, revealed and spoken word of God.  Rely on the message from the Lord and live by it. It shall work.  Jesus says in Matthew 24:35, “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.” Therefore, if God has spoken to you; if God has opened your eyes through His word, believe that word for it shall work for you. Luke 1:45 And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.
Do you know the nature of this God you serve? He is the God who told Gideon that thirty-two thousand people with him were too many for Him to win victory over the Midianites and the Amalekites in the war.  Even when the army of Israel was screened and only ten thousand of them were remaining, God said they were still too many for Him to use. The Lord selected only three hundred people to fight the enemies whose were like the sand in the sea shore for multitudes.  These very few soldiers of the Lord prevailed over their enemies.
Thought for the day: The just has great confidence in the finality of the word of God.
Song for the day: Standing on the promises of God
Bible reading for the day: Daniel 3-4; 1 John 3

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
