TOPIC: COME TO JESUS WITH YOUR BURDEN
DECEMBER Friday 21st

TEXT: Matthew 11: 28-30
Key verse: Casting all your care upon Him; for He careth for you. 1 Peter 5: 7
The eye of God has identified you. God has seen the burden you carry and the weight of that burden. What you carry is heavy; you need someone to help you; to lift the burden from your head. Only God can do that for you. He is inviting you to come to Him with your burden and find rest for your soul. God is a lover, a concerned Father. He bids you to come. There are things in your life that give you pains, discomfort, sorrow, shame, fear and the lack of peace. You desire solution to them; you think about them; you discuss with those close to you about them; you cry under their heavy weight. These are burdens in your life which God want you to bring to Him.
These burdens may include the weight of your sinful life. Sin, when it is committed becomes a heavy weight in the heart of the sinner. It may be committed in the heart of the sinner; it may be committed in the open or secret; known to others or known only to you. Sin in your life makes you restless, as something in your eye or between your teeth, but when you open yourself before God, He will forgive you and give you peace. Through Jesus Christ your sins can be forgiven.
The burden of sickness may be what you carry. All your effort has not been able to remove it from your life. Jesus Christ is your burden bearer. He wants to take away from you the sickness of your body and mind, so you may have rest. Maybe it is the burden of suffering in the hand of Satan or his agents. You may be poor and helpless and may not know the way out.
Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. Begin a new life today by accepting Jesus fully into your life. Repent from your sins and start a new life in Christ, a better life. Be free from the old life of immorality, drunkenness, lying, cheating, fighting, witchcraft and wickedness. Begin a new life of peace, love, fellowship with God, and the people of God, in holiness and righteousness. Call upon Him to come to your help and you will experience His salvation, deliverance and provision.
Thought for the day: Jesus Christ is your burden bearer.
Song for the day: What a Friend we have in Jesus

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
