TOPIC: BE NOT PARTAKER IN OTHER PEOPLE’S SINS
DECEMBER Saturday 15th
TEXT: Genesis 38: 13-23
KEY VERSE: Lay hands suddenly on no man, neither be partaker of other men's sins: keep thyself pure. 1 Timothy 5: 22
QUESTION: Is it good for a Christian tailor to collect trousers from an unbeliever for an amendment or sew an open-back or show-breast dress for unbelievers. Is it proper? What you have been teaching us is in agreement with Genesis 3:21; that place talk about the purpose why God made clothing; that is, to cover the nakedness of man. If you look at today you discover that we are in the changing world and it seems that most believers are changing with the changing world most especially in this area of our dressing standard. So I want us to still see much on that area because personally it disturbs my heart.
ANSWER: Sister it is not proper to do so. I appreciate this type of question. Should the seamstress and tailors sew any cloth that will make these people to be stumbling block to Christians? If they do so, then they are partakers of the sins of those people. So a tailor must reject any cloth that does not form the standard of righteousness. Although you may say, if I do so where will I find my food? What shall it profit you if you can eat all the food and go to hell? What shall it profit you? Leave that! God is able to feed you. He will bring true customers to you or else give you another business. God can do that for you to keep you in righteousness.
A Christian barber must not be partaker in other men’s sins. Do not barb punk, J5, Galaxy and other ungodly styles for customers. Some carnal barbers compromise to the point of applying relaxers, hair dyes and chemicals that change the texture and consistency of the hair, just for financial gains. As a sister, you are not expected to be the one perming or jerry curling people’s hair, or fixing attachment, weavon and ungodly things for unbelievers. Whatever your profession, trade or handwork, keep yourself pure and ready for heaven.
Thought for the day: Keep yourself pure and ready for heaven
Song for the day: I have chosen the way
Bible reading for the day:
Amos 4-6; Revelation 6.

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
