TOPIC: THE JUST SHALL LIVE BY FAITH
OCTOBER Friday 5th
TEXT: Romans 1: 16-17
KEY VERSE: Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith. Habakkuk 2: 4
When someone repents from sin and believes in the Lord Jesus Christ, he receives the salvation of God and becomes a new creature.  The Bible says, “Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature. Old things have passed away and all things have become new” (2 Corinthians 5:17). His new relationship with God is characterized by newness of life, the fear of God, righteousness and obedience to God’s word.  He is considered a just and perfect man.
The scriptures state emphatically that the just shall live by faith. The believer in Christ Jesus, who is righteous before God, shall live, survive, thrive, triumph and overcome by faith. He shall make progress and prosper by faith. This is the emphasis of the scriptures.
The proud man and woman can never be upright in the sight of God.  The believer who is struggling to live through his personal effort is a proud person.  He does not consider God worthy of his dependence.  He would rather depend on his intellect, wisdom and power to do things.  He is a proud man and can never please God. Every believer is expected to exercise personal faith Him. While it may be expedient to seek the intercession of a spiritual mentor in prayer, the perfect will of God is that every child of His should exercise personal faith by asking Him for their needs.
Thought for the day: Without faith it is impossible to please God
Song for the day: Only believe, Only believe, all things are possible
Bible reading for the day:
Isaiah 31-33; Philippines 1

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
