TOPIC:  HOW TO RECEIVE ETERNAL LIFE AND PRESERVE IT.  SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 16
TEXT:  JOHN 3:3-21
KEY VERSE: “But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die.” (Ezekiel 18:21).

The way of salvation from sin and hell fire is clearly revealed in the scripture. If you follow the path of salvation shown in the scripture, you will surely be saved. God has never predestined you to eternal damnation. He is merciful to you. Therefore, for your salvation from sin and hell fire, firstly, you must accept that you have sinned against God through disobeying His commandments. You have done many evil things against God, against yourself and your fellow men. By virtue of your sins and wicked deeds, which may be many or few, you are justly condemned by God and are in the number of those doomed for everlasting destruction in hell fire.  The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.” Psalm 9:17.

However, our Lord is a merciful God who freely forgives the sin of those that repent and seek His forgiveness. Confess your sins to Him, repent of them and plead with Him to forgive you, “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (1John 1:9).

Jesus Christ is the only One that can save from sin. You cannot stop sinning by your power without Him. Those who make New Year Resolutions will always go back to their sin because they lack the power to transform themselves. Welcome Jesus into your life to give you the power to overcome sin. When Jesus comes into your life, He will save you from sin and give you the power of righteousness. Jesus is the universal Saviour from sin. When you give your life to Jesus Christ, your sins will be forgiven and you will be given a new life from God. Your name will be entered into the Book of Life in heaven. Surely, you will not want to start committing new sins and get your name removed from the Book of Life.

After salvation experience you must determine to continue in Christ by living a righteous and holy life each day of your life till you are called home. Make sure you have a good Bible. You will need to study your Bible regularly and pray always to God for His grace to live the victorious Christian life. The Holy Spirit will guide you into all truth, obey Him. Do not be afraid of man and be not ashamed of following Jesus. Dissociate from evil friends, relationships and associations. Doing these will preserve you for eternity. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. (1 Timothy 2:3-4).

Thought for the Day:  Are you saved from sin? Are you truly born again?
Song for the Day: Thank you for saving me, thank you my Lord.
Bible reading for the day: Proverbs 30-31; 2 Corinthians 8

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

The local church should teach and train her members on scriptural fasting. Believers need to know that the Lord expects...

The Testimony Of Jesus Is Spirit Of Prophecy.

God's blessings will continually accompany you for dedicating time to your studies. The Testimony Of Jesus Is Spirit Of Prophecy.  Monday 10th November  Text: Jude 1: 2-5 Key verse: Jude 1: 3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. The faith of Jesus has already been delivered and it is written in the scriptures. Whatever prophecies, revelations or dreams that comes must not be contrary to the standard in the scripture. They must speak the same thing. The testimony of Jesus is spirit of prophecy. Every prophecy or revelation must honour Jesus and must be according to the written word. Even where they are new things, they must not contradict because the Bible is a summary of the things Jesus did. The Bible cannot contain all things. It must be according to what the scripture has already signified, ...
